We Have just ordered a takeaway a couple of times, first time staff called in sick and it took forever but let me say the food is amazing , the gnocchi is something else ! Just find the floor manager gets smashed doing everything. Other than that, foods authentic Italian. Atmosphere is not fantastic but food makes up for it .
Came for a birthday / anniversary tonight and booked a table for 5. Have been here before and have always enjoyed the service and the food. We were seated at a table for 4 with an extra chair at the end, a bit of a squeeze for 5 adults. It got worse from there. Had to ask for glasses for the water she left on the table as we were seated.. She watched as I emptied the water bottle into 4 of 5 glasses and left the table with and empty bottle and 1 empty glass. Waitress was completely inattentive, not once did anyone check to see if our food order was ok. We ordered 3 glasses of wine and when 2 of us had finished a glass she came and took the empty glasses away but never asked if we would like another. Food came out in 2 splits with a long enough time for the first 3 plates to get cold by the time the last 2 plates were brought out from the pass. No mention of dessert and by the time we were done with the dinner i was more than ready to leave and take my money elsewhere. Sad and very disappointing service which let down the efforts of the 3 in the kitchen. The food was on point, but sadly the service was some of the laziest I've experienced. Staff need to be interested in the industry, not just having a job.
Staff were friendly and personable. We ordered 6 different dishes and each person loved their choice. The atmosphere was cosy and authentic. Small dining space tho, booking might be necessary for larger groups.
Pretty good experience! The pizzas are lovely and the manager was really friendly. The atmosphere is pretty romantic but wasted on me and my brother! He couldn't fit on the table we were originally seated at but we were moved as soon as the manager noticed the issue. Great romantic italian place!
Have a very mixed feeling about this place. First time we came here everything was good. We enjoyed our meal - pasta for my kid and pizza for us. Food was a bit pricy, but we are happy to pay for good quality. We also appreciated customer survive - a very nice gentleman helped us to choose meals from the menu. So I would have leaved a 5 star review, weren’t we go there the second time. The second time was awful. I ordered a kids pasta and two pizzas. The gentleman worked in the kitchen, he remembered us, I asked for exact same pasta for my kid as he is picky and I didn’t want to risk to order something else. When we received the receipt, we saw that we were charged $20 for pasta, whereas the first time it was $10 for the same thing. This time we had conversation with an old woman looks like she owns the place, who was extremely rude. When we asked about the price of the pasta she told us that there is no such thing as kids pasta there, my husband told her that we were here 2 days ago and we know for sure that it was. Then she said that we received an adult portion of pasta, that the waitress was new and she brought us wrong size, so we knew that it’s the wrong portion and we should have told her it’s not kids size I think she used the words “it’s your duty”. We argued that we are customers and we are not supposed to know what is what in the menu. After 5 minutes of arguing she reduces the price of the pasta from $20 to $12, we paid it and went away. I don’t think we will ever come back. When we go out we like to envoy customer service and the food, we don’t like to be blamed, accused of cheating. So, to sum everything up the food is good, customer service experience extremely varies. 5 star for the first time, 1 star for the second, 1+5/2 is 3.
Woeful service and manner. Initially I was offered a very badly positioned seat especially for a single diner. I chose to sit outside and then was totally ignored whilst the staff member who had seated me stood in front of me offering free pizza to passing people - not even asked if I wanted to order a drink to start. The other staff member came out, surveyed the scene and went inside again. Left the place - crazy when giving away free food is more important than serving paying customers.
Waited half an hour for two simple pizzas and it wasn't even busy! Pizza and garlic bread were way to salty and they offered us a salad while we waited. Like how about a refund for stuffing our orders up and not a stupid salad.
Delicious as ever. They make even the most boring pizza topping margarita delicious. And the gnocchi was again the highlight of the evening, even my husband the carnivire loved it.
Great food, don't get me wrong but horrendous service. Took over 1 hour for 3 meals. Starters were forgotten. Two staff were serving, one who seemed to be the manager, was in a tracksuit top and didn't speak to us all night.
Pizza was very nice. Service however, while being nice, wasn't very attentive and spent a lot of time joking around and chatting in the kitchen. Had to wait even longer as the coffee machine hadn't been turned on and needing warming up.
