Recently spent 2 weeks rehab after a hip replacement. The nursing staff were all caring and helpfull. The physio staff were encouraging and I appreciated their advice and help, my day to day physical improvement was noticeable. My private ensuite room was very comfortable. The catering could use a little more imagination and improvement.
I recently had day surgery at the hospital and i just cannot thank the staff enough. Every member was incredibly friendly, warm, and caring. I was repeatedly checked on and made to feel comfortable. The nurses that looked after me Marge and Michelle were absolutely amazing human beings and i have never been looked after so well. Even other nursing staff that walked past me would check to see if i wanted another blanket or anything else. The surgical team were also incredibly friendly and kind. I felt completely taken care of and at ease despite my nerves. Thank you to all!
Initially I was very apprehensive simply because of the discomfort I was experiencing and what I would encounter when I arrived. Well I had nothing to worry about. From admission until discharge, my doctor and staff were professional, delightful, helpful and kind. The physio team were amazing, I felt motivated and empowered to achive my goals because of their support, discipline and guidance. The food was pleasant and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was very good and of course good coffee at the small cafe within the complex. Overall my stay at Delmar for rehab was such a positive excellent experience I would recommend anyone requiring rehab to go no further than Delmar to assist them with recovery. Thank you.
My fiancée had a surgery done there few months ago and she was on drip and the nurses have gave too much drip with too much medication and it made her feel so sick that she almost passed out and she still suffers lot of stress from that experience til this day where she can’t sleep sometimes.nAll the medication that nurses keep pumping into her arms made her head and heart throbbing like as if she was being hit by these big waves.nNo rookie or in experience nurse should be in charge of these medications or drip or putting cannula.nCompetent nurses should be in charge of how much medications is needed on the patient especially the ones they are coming out of surgery.nNegligent or in experience of any nurses can cause long term damage on helpless patient because this isn’t restaurant where you can your order wrong and recorrect the mistake.nBeing nurses at surgical ward is very crucial role to ensure safety procedure is followed in careful manner of patients. Understanding when they shouldn’t overdose medication to cause long term damage on person. Please becareful with any patients after their surgery because if it was your mother or dad. You wouldn’t want them to get hurt or cause any pain.
