We have now moved to Qld. Went for a date day at Caloundra. Went for a decent walk along the boardwalk. Couldn’t believe how many fish and chip along the way, so we were hoping for a good one. Found De Lish Fish. It was really good. Ordered a surf pack which you could have battered or crumbed. We chose battered 2 very large pieces of fish, 4 calamari rings, 2 seafood sticks, 2 prawn cutlets and perfectly cooked chips. It was pretty filling. With a coke cost just on $40. They do have a gelato bar which I would of loved to try but my eyes bigger than stomach…next time. They also sell salads eg beetroot, pasta, Greek. They do have bench seats outside. We really enjoyed it and would go again. If you want to see what else they have check out their menu on line, lots of choice.
A bit hit and miss unfortunately. The fish and chips were over cooked but the calamari, sea scallops and potato cakes were delicious! We threw most of our chips to the birds and the 4 year old loved it The views from just up the hill were lovely!
We had great fish, chips and salad take away on 1st December 21. The shop is in a great location next to the park and a strole to Kings Beach, covered seating is available but not so good in the rain. We chose a package which you build with a choice of 2 from a group of salads, one was cod the other a little smaler was snapper. I am happy to reccomend this business.
Ignition juice was too sour. Calamari very nice though without homemade tartar sauce. Nice location near beach. Parking: Right next to parking and toilets nearby
Has all the makings of top notch fish n chips. Sadly let down by being overcooked. They had really nice fresh snapper, but overcooked it till it was dry. They have very nice chips. Nice salads. Staff are pleasant. Too expensive for the quality one gets.
It took over an hour and half to get our takeaway order. They left $30 worth of food out of our order and charge a 15% surcharge and it wasn’t even a public holiday. We were charged $150 for 2 x large chips, 6 pieces of fish only received 4 and 2 x served of calamari and a seafood stick which we didn’t receive. Never again.
Our fish, chips and calamari were lovely from here. Nicely cooked. Our only issue was that they packed up their chairs from their fixed tables at 5.30pm but they don't close till 7.30pm and we had to ask for some chairs to sit on which they were hesitant to give. If they had already been locked away then the answer was No but if they were sitting around the corner still then we could have a chair each. Sadly this was father's day and there were quite a few people wanting to sit and eat there but weren't sure if they could ask for chairs so moved on, some not even ordering because there was no where to sit. Loss of business was certainly happening. The food is too nice for this to be happening. Come on guys leave your chairs out for people. Pack them up when you stop taking orders not 2hrs before you finish.
Really nice fish n chips... enjoy whole family lunch over there.. fresh fish with fresh salad. Kids like after food ice-cream... recommend to go again and again.. and very excellent customer service.
Wow what an Amazing experience, just took the family their for fish and chips and the staff were friendly and helpful we got the fish plate for two and kids got the calimari and chips!! Best fish and chips this year for us!!! and price was so good for a family of 4. Definitely going back there again!!!!!
Great fish and chips, very tasty and hot. Their seafood basket equivalent is quite good with big bits of fish and a good variety of extra things. Fast and friendly service, quite busy at peak times.
