This is a great little cafe in Ulverston, the staff were friendly and helpful the food was great, I had a latte served in a tall glass with a handle thanks guys I appreciate that,the coffee was nice and creamy and well executed with two shots, I like strong coffee so next time I'm going to ask for an extra shot I also had a freshly squeezed pineapple and orange juice very nice. My friend had a skim flat white but she says it was more like a latte, she ordered the coffee to be served in a t/a cup which she got she also said that the coffee was nice but next time with an extra shot . The cafe has a nice relaxed vibe and is a little quirky with outdoor/indoor seating, I recommend this cafe and we will be back.

Have Read a few reviews of this joke of an owner! Absolutely correct - definitely needs a personality transplant as mentioned in another post! Very disappointing for a local family who unfortunately had to change their wedding day to the next day due to sickness. ‘Punished’ them with less than average food but it was his whole demeanour that was the icing on the cake! I can’t figure out how this guy has a busy & popular cafe. He spoke to a staff member very rudely but not surprised considering his ‘mood’ towards us. Word of advice to you ol’ mate: stay in the kitchen or think about another industry!

My first visit here was fantastic. The Cafe was packed which added to the atmosphere and although they were busy the staff was friendly and professional. The food was great a really good sized meal and very tasty.Food: 5/5

Haven't been here for a while, changed name and owners. Very impressed great food, good sized meals with fair prices. All day breakfast is always a winner too. Waitress friendly and helpful. Decor simple and modern. Licenced too. Parking outside, public toilets close by

Well, it would be nice to start off with ‘if you need anything from the menu, then you’ll have to come back before 2:30pm’. We got there at 3:15pm, so it would of taken them 45 minutes to cook up and serve our lunch. Keeping in mind that the cafe closes at 4. So I ask this question, what do you after 4pm, oh that’s right, you just lock the doors and go home. This is the pattern we get as Tassie locals who moved down from NSW, for the fresh air as well as the friendly hospitality. We found the fresh air, maybe the hospitality is hiding under a rock somewhere!!!!!

Came for coffee. Didn't stay for more. Server had a dead fish personality, so slow service for below average coffee. Music was good.

Ordered the fisherman's basket which was said to have flathead fillets and smoked salmon nothing was said when we ordered it came out with a very small piece of flake not flathead and no smoke salmon not good enough should have been given a chance to change ourselves not just served what they chose no even offered a discountFood: 1/5
