Absolute gem of a restaurant! Excellent good, superb generous service, extremely friendly staff. I will be visiting this place often.nnThe food is authentic Indian, tasty and generous and at a super cheap price.nnHighly recommended!
Nice restaurant with a varied menu and a cabinet of freshly made sweets.nGreat value for money. Big portion sizes and lots of chicken and fish in our dishes.nService was quick and it didn't take long for our dishes to arrive.nFirst we ordered Veda pav, which came with chutney. This was big, hot, and had a nice spicey kick to it.nThe chicken curry and Goan fish were huge and came out very hot. They both had lots of flavour.nThe saffron rice was luffy and tasty with black and green cardamom, bay leaves and aniseed in it which gave it a nice flavour.nThe naan bread and roti were cooked to perfection. Fluffy and crispy.nI would definitely recommend this restaurant if you want an authentic taste of Indian cuisine.
Im only giving this a 3 star coz of a very basic sit down area and ambience so an overall rating. However the food here is good. We had the pav bhaji, chole bhature, bhel and the masala chai. Everything was good but some minus points for the bhel.. was too wet and too sweet. Good flavours but it gets too much after a few bites. I'd go back here to try different items and pick up some sweets. Looked promising
Visited on a quite night so perhaps vibe was little off for obvious reasons. Ordered some snacks like chats and pani puri. Presentation was great, service was good. Maybe a little more condiments on top in contrast to authentic indian snacks/chats found in India.
The food at this restaurant was disappointing, as Alu Parathas arrived overcooked and burnt. The flavours were masked by the charred, making it hard to enjoy the meal. Unfortunately, the lack of attention to cooking became the reason of worst dining experience. And rude behaviour of staff really impacted the overall experience.nPhoto attached.
