We had booked the entire place for a corporate function and would recommend this! The venue catered for more than 80 of our staff and the staff were very detailed in what they did. A Big thumbs up for the mains - the beef just melts in my mouth! They are also flexible and was able to accommodate our last min requests. If you are a cosy spot for our functions, I would go back again. :
First visit was quite disappointing. Second visit was much improved. The burger pictured was juicy and hit the spot - a far cry from the dried, burnt fried chicken burger I had originally also pictured. The fries were crispy and golden. The mash and gravy was superb. Well done. Four stars. Will be coming back.
The service was fantastic, the lady that served me, my mum and sister yesterday did a great job, she was very polite and understood everything we wanted to order... with not a single mistake. I enjoyed the Chicken Parma but I must admit the sauce was too sweet, it should be less sweet and a touch of spice. Other than that, the Parmas are massive, you get exactly what you pay for. I think customers however should be able to add a can of coke to their meal for either $1 or $2, rather than paying the price of $4 for a can. I'll visit again and I recommend others to as well. Once more, I commend the great service of the waitress and staff working on the day.
Yum yum yum. Located in Sunshine plaza, next to village cinemas. Really funky cafe style decor. Food was delicious, had two starters, the teriyaki scallops with a cauliflower puree and chicken ribs. Would have given 5 stars however the scallops could have been a little hotter. Overall the staff were friendly and the evening was nice.
Unlike other reviewers I didn't go for a meal, I went for the dessert since I was told that the desserts were inspired by Desserts by Night near Highpoint. Walked in during the day around 4ish, 4 other customers were already dining. The store was decently sized and well spaced out.Service was really quick though there was only 1 wait staff at the time. I ordered the waffles and when it did come out I noticed straight away that they had made the amateur mistake of putting icecream on top of warm waffles. Icecream on top cool waffles is perfect, or plated next to warm waffles is fine. However icecream on top of warm waffles is a no go. Other than that, taste was good, price was cheap and service was quick. I expect they will be better down the track and i will definitely be back, maybe for food next time. Try it
Chicken schnitzel and chips were seasoned nicely, average portion sizes. Average wait times for a venue like that. Staff were friendly, however it was little bit hard to understand one of them. Vanilla milkshake was very good as well. Price was very cheap for the quality.
Dined here a few weeks ago. The service was a little lacking. We waited a while before someone took our order. We ordered a burger, beef ribs, some sides and a milkshake. We asked that we milkshake be served at the end of the meal. The milkshake came out first! Despite this the ribs were really tasty and the portion sizes good. We enjoyed our food and thought the value for money was great. Would eat here again.
I never claim to be an expert in food, but I am a hard customer to keep. Possibly the two things that might upset me are poor customer service and not receiving what I order. I visit DeGrill at least three times a week and I have been disappointed not once. The food is prepared fresh yet surprisingly quickly, well presented and at a good temperature. The customer service is nothing short of brilliant, with staff always finding time to greet and briefly chat with every customer. Management would appear to support this which, in my view, is both wise and welcome. I do recommend the Loaded Fries followed by the Belgian Waffles served with in-season berries.
I dream of when I can return to those sweet sweet shakes. This place rocks my world. The food. The service. And most of all the damn delicious shakes. Meal and dessert for less than $20 pp, it's awesome. This place is also super baby friendly; change table, high chairs, plastic cutlery/crockery if needed.
The food we ate here was very good. I had the chicken burger, which was not too dry, it had plenty of fillings too. My wife had the half chicken which was moist and large enough to share. I had the pavlova for desert and my wife the waffles, again very tasty and fresh.
