I came from Melbourne Uni and visited the Geelong Waterfront Campus for only 1 day. To me as an outlandish visitor, this campus had spectacular ocean view and compact architecture design. I gave only 4 stars to match the current average rating because there were so many reviews that complain about teaching and staffs behaviours.
The Waterfront campus is a beautiful building and definitely the ideal location to study Architecture and the Built Environment! A view like no other!nnIt's stunning accents and light filled spaces make it very easy to feel good on campus. With a solid combination of indoor and outdoor environments for all concerned.nnThe education will be personal preference, but I love their approach to aiding self-guided learning.
Bringing an honest review. University is great if coming towards study, infrastructure and other things but i have faced so many problems from administration. Everything could be delayed by them that can be either your course completion letter or it can be your transcripts as well. Really disappointed with the administration of geelong campus.
This is the famous Geelong Waterfront directly in front of the Deakin Waterfront University. If you are visiting the region, I would highly recommend coming here early in the morning say 7 to 8 am to truly enjoy a stroll along the waterfront without the crowd. You would then experience the real beauty of this attractions... Peace , tranquility and the mesmerizing view of the sea with the you yang mountain as the backdrop... people jogging... Walking the dog... Sitting at the lawn enjoying the sun. This is Geelong at its best.
The place has a really good sea side view. After class or during lunch break you can take a walk by the beach while thinking what to have for dinner.
