Best move we made. I cannot fault the dedication and hard work of teachers in supporting the boys to achieve their best. They really do put in the extra time and effort to engage students and provide them with every available opportunity to learn.
Although the school uniform looks great, it seems prodigal as the year 12 jumper is used in such a wasteful and uneconomical manner. Parents pay for the vast majority of teachers present at the school to talk to students at their own discretion, often making children feel bad. Other than these flaws you would call minor, it is a decent school. At least not for the set price.
Terrible school, teachers dont care about the students, all they care about is unifrom. Toilets are destroyed. Students have old weak microwaves to cook lunches where as the teachers just recieved 3 brand new ones. teachers are not prepared to listen to students opinions on problems and assume as they are a higher power, what they say is completely right. an example of this is students were given the opportunity to buy a year 12 rugby jumper for around $70, to then find out they can only wear the top for the last 2 weeks of the school year. Would you really want to waste that kind of money on a top that can only be worn for that long and most likely never again? I profoundly stress you do not enrol your child in this school.
No I'm not donating to "support the college", my 8 years there was riddled with broken facilities and teachers who didn't care. The money all goes to renovations at the tiverton campus where all the school tours are held to impress the parents but during VCE everything is run down and broken. I think after all this donation money, there still won't be any locks on the bathroom doors on the senior campus. Screw you de la salle, I hope your business not school tanks. Do not donate
Mrs Runci’s position at the school needs to be reevaluated. She is the rudest teacher i’ve ever interacted with and had an entire power trip on my son so much so that he is frightened to come forward about it! Absolutely disgusting!!!
amazing school with great teachers and toilets are just amazing. they are clean and there is never pee on the walls compared to other schools. there is no vandalism or graffiti. and when there is the teachers are brought to justice right away.
Good school Alright not to bad
Thank you De La Salle for giving my son a wonderful education. He is a confident well rounded young man ready to face the challenges of being a medical practitioner. I am so proud of all that he has achieved. De La provided him with the foundation to excel.
After attending this school for 6 years, I recommend for parents to not send your children here, you're all going to be left in debt with your son having an inadequate education. Just send him to a public school because guess what, regardless of where you send your children, there're going to be bad/good teachers/kids.
Both my sons attended De La Salle and secured uni entry. As much as we were happy with discipline maintained, there was a degree of bullying by students happens in most schools especially if you are not white skin . Request teachers and other staff to be vigilant on this behaviour by some students, not expected in a catholic school
