The drive up here along Manaia road was pretty cool. Trees almost forming an arch over the narrow 1 lane road. The man at the information desk was helpful. Great view of Mt Taranaki - if the clouds clear up. The hike to Wilkies pools passed through an ethereal mossy forrest.
