Always had good experience here, although don’t recommend taking your bottles and cans in on a Sunday morning as the staff can’t count. Sorted all my cans, bottles & cartons into separate bags & counted twice, but somehow they get 43 less than I did. When questioned reply was “bad luck can’t recount them now”
I had to get rid of what I'd dubbed 'the cardboard monster', a pile that had been growing for years. I took it to Daws Park today, half a van full, and a bunch of well used packing paper, $10, which I thought was a bargain for being shot of it all at last. The guys were very helpful and assisted me with unloading it, not to mention forklifting in a new skip when I'd managed to fill up the first one. The place was pretty busy early afternoon on a Saturday, but it was efficient. I'd happily go there again should another cardboard monster eventuate. Thanks guys!
Bottles/cans carefully counted before. Notified the worker before hand how many in each bag. How can we be 84 units different? Know it's not the end of the world, but if they consistently short change customers, they must being doing alright. 1 container = 10c, 2 containers = 20c, etc...

Great service, fast, good value. They take your bottles, cans, cartons, plastics and all your old batteries ,metals, and many other old household items like old white goods etc.
Great super fast staff an all round pleasant experience on every occasion.
daws road recycling at it again ripped me off 100 bottles i counted 520 bottles they first told me 450 then on a so called second count they said 426 how can you count the cans once they are picked up by a machine and emptied into a big container with other cans they are thieves BE CAREFUL WHO in their right mind miscounts by 100 cans

It's a small but efficient scrap metal yard. Staff are on the ball, good communication. Great prices for scrap too.
These guys are pretty good always have a laugh with them when I go
