didn’t appreciate the age discrimination I experienced yesterday. Employee in cosmetic section had asked me if I needed help I politely said no I’m just browsing and she didn’t leave she was breathing down my neck watching everytime I looked at a shade. As someone with anxiety feeling welcome and comfortable in stores is huge for me and I was most unwelcome and uncomfortable I have ever been.
Staff is very friendly, but offering is poor. I am surprised, for years now, that this shop wasn’t closed yet. Compared to Mayer full of life stores this David Jones store have a feel of socialism store from the eighties.

Nice and tidy. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Big parking lot and pick-up areas.
Worst service I have ever seen, I was in handbag’s section, looking for a guess bag for my mom and need help, but there was only one staff in whole section and she was the only one who was doing billing also. I waited almost 30 minutes unfortunately no staff was there except one who was busy and there are almost 15 brands. What a bad experience with David jones.

Always a lot of choice and high quality items to pick from here. Helpful staff and, as with many such stores, a standard layout so you know where everything is.
The product I'd purchased had a faulty strap. The saleswoman I spoke to, said David Jones couldn't do anything and suggested I purchase another strap and get it fixed elsewhere or send it to the manufacturer myself. It wasn't until I'd mentioned that I'd already spoken to the manufacturer and that it was under warranty, that she said ' I suppose we'll have to send it to them then'. Very poor service and experience.
