Fantastic department store with everything you need from a good sale item to something ultra luxurious. Huge bank of lift that run super fast. Store is very clean and all staff are super helpful and friendly. Nothing is ever a issue. Had zero issues navigating the store in a wheelchair. For street wheelchair access to the store the entrance on market Street is the one you want to use.
“Helen Kaminski” store locates at the level 1 in David Jones department store. And it is a part section of multi stores at this floor. Displayed items are limited with popular items, so checking items you may want to buy should be worthy with staffs. Staffs are professional and helpful. Products are fantastic and elegance as expected. Recommended.
This was a truly delightful Christmas experience. The window display was so much fun and quite magical. The kids level was out of this world. There were amazingly immersive zones where you could feel a part of different worlds like the 100 acre wood, star wars universe, marvel and Disney princess castle. The staff were all very helpful and knowledgeable.
It was my first visit to the David Jones food court sitting restaurant. I like David Jones and respect this company. However, the food we had there was expensive and ordinarily. The steak was overcooked and chewy, the salmon salad was drenched with vinegar. I hope that the quality of food will improve.
It's a really nice fancy departmental store, with most of what you need. Many big international brands through to local designer brands, can be found here. The food hall is large and vast, with many eateries also housing themselves here. The entire mall is connected underground to Westfield side of things, through to the train station. They do run promotions from time to time, so do look out for those newsletters. That said, it's more a generic place if you're looking for things, like how a departmental store is supposed to be. If you already know what you're looking for, I'll suggest you go directly to the specialty brand stores elsewhere instead of coming here.
The location of this place alone in the centre of business and retail district, easy to find and everything is accessible by a short distance walk. It is close enough to some big shopping area like Myers and most of the luxury and ultra luxurious store like Zara, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada, Chanel Coach and many more.
I recently visited the Sydney city store for Saturday brekkie and shopping in the food hall. The cafe has a good basic menu and my scrambled eggs were really excellent. If your looking for foodie Christmas gifts you’re sure to find something here. DJs has a comprehensive range of both sweet and savoury packaged and fresh foods and you can design your own Christmas hamper. The quality is really excellent. I’d say the layout of the hall could be expanded by removing the small kitchen appliances section, but other than that it’s definitely worth a visit. Get there before 11am as it gets really busy.
Spring has arrived with flowers in the air. DJs has bloomed with spring flowers for years. It offers fantastic fragrances, as well as delicious foods. The cheese bar offers the best gruyere I’ve tasted. And the hot chocolate is a treat. Men’s clothing is a little wonder, and I’d go back for the range of Levi’s clothing. Don’t forget to mask up.
Beautiful store. Spring flower festival was great. The piano man played a request for me.
Despite the building looking old, inside is newly renovated and is clean and modern. They ask house the only Grown Alchemist store in Sydney city center.
