David Carr staff are the friendliest, most helpful people all in one office! They are always there to help me out of a jam and they have reasonable prices. They are fantastic!
I arrived outside David Carr Locksmiths & Security one evening at 5.05 pm. Two young gentlemen had just finished locking up. I had with me a small metal suitcase inherited from my aunt. Beautiful thing. Infested with rust. On seeing me, the young gentlemen displayed not a skerrick of dismay, given the time. They reopened the shop. They examined the metal suitcase and admired it. It is at least 100 years old. The lock works like silk but the key is slightly bent. Which is why I took it to a locksmith. They added lubricant which made the lock mechanism even more silky. "You can't buy a metal suitcase now" they said. "Everything's plastic." Made me so glad I hadn't chucked the case away to landfill. So now I'll have the rust removed professionally. Then my husband can store his sweets in it under lock and key, safely unattainable by me! Congratulations you two young men and Congratulations to David Carr Locksmiths & Security
Maybe the locksmiths are ok but the incompetence of the service staff in shop is just ridiculous. Yesterday was definitely my last visit.
Locked myself out of my apartment that has an electric lock. The guys here told me how I could fix it myself, no charge. I figure some locksmiths would probably take advantage of the situation to make a quick buck. Very kind of the guys here to be honest.

From the quoting stages to installation, they have gone above and beyond! Special mention to Jason, Aimee and Richard who made our experience seamless with their efficient service and positive attitudes. You can tell real teamwork goes into this company! We had a couple of problems. An automatic front door closer which would not cloe and a lock which would not turn. A technision was sent quickly and fixed both problems in minimal time and cost. A most efficient service. the serviceman went that extra bit to ensdure the job was done to perfection with minimum cost and no time wasting. Melvyn Woollahra

Dean Gorsuch Is our go to giuy as he has the best customer service of any locksmith we’ve worked with. He’s also got a wealth of experience and fine attention to detail. I’ve had an unusually urgent situation this morning where my cats were accidentally locked in a room where the door handle broke. I spoke with Jack, who was absolutely wonderful. So polite, and he went above and beyond to help. Would highly reccomend this company and would like to congratulate management on Jack, what an outstanding employee and a credit to your business.
