ordered the mullet and chips for $10. Very pricey for small qty, even the snapper and chips are very small for $17.50. Taste is alright and fresh. Bottle of water or a can of coke $3.50.
Ordered two servings of fish NZ Hake and chips. Very tasty. Servings were so generous that one serving was enough for two. Will certainly be back for more.
The food is great but the wait is long. It seems if you're in person, phone orders skip the queue as well as the line. Order by PHONE. After eating it was okay but very oily. It wasn't drained and the fish was a bit over cooked. The Tassie crumbed scallops were okay but dry. It was okay.
we get grilled salmon, chips and salad from Darrons nearly every week. We love it. Cant understand some of these negative reviews. We have been going there for years and never had a bad meal-very generous servings

Great fish and chips, looks like a big range of fresh seafood to cook at home as well. Service is good and there is a bit of seating outside, but you're on a main road. Only a few minutes turn around from ordering to having your food ready, so the 1 hour parking out the front or around the corner is o.
Finally, a place that cooks their chips nice & crispy if you ask them to.
