Darn Cheap Fabrics was opened in 1988 by Lauren with her history in the fashion industry, as a fashion designer. Lauren has brought current fashion fabrics at wholesale prices to the retail market by sourcing many of her extensive contacts within the trade to find the best fabrics and bring them to you. CHEAP!

WE have purchased from Darn Cheap Fabrics for years and love the selection of fabrics  more interesting than Spotlight ! and they have buttons laces zips needles cotton .. basically everything and more to make whatever you like to wear. The staff are so helpful with ordering things for us aswell from their other shop. Below are just a few pics to share

5  Service! I was guided here by my Seamstress, as I have little/no knowledge of sewing. The Lady who assisted me was Very Helpful! She showed me how much fabric was needed & my option of colours. Also Super Friendly! Prices were Great also. Thanks for Your Top service! Very Highly Recommended!

A great range of fabrics at affordable prices, and friendly helpful staff…my go to fabric shop since 2004

I have only ordered online from this company but they have incredible customer service! I'm my most recent order one fabric was out of stock so Kim texted me photos of other similar fabrics so I could choose a substitute. All fabrics I have received have been high quality and true to the images online. Cannot recommend them enough!

This is a great store and the people working here are so helpful and knowledgeable. With their great advice, I managed to finish a simple stool refurbishment project that turned out much better than I expected.

I’ve  just learnt to sew aprons and darn cheap has been very helpful with assisting me finding all my materials and accessories I need the staff are very helpful and friendly prices are very reasonable

I really appreciated the detail on the website, like the fibre content and multiple photos. Super fast shipping, despite the fact that I ordered on boxing day! I love that it came wrapped up tenderly in an old pattern sheet too. So thoughtful!
