Arrived with my Husband who required urgent review. The receptionist was extremely efficient and the nurses came immediately. They were calm friendly and introduced themselves. They made us feel so relaxed and we knew we were in good hands. All observations were done rapidly and Dr was so knowledgeable and referred my husband to the ward for further investigation. What an amazing experience and all great to the team. Bless you all.
Absolutely shambles. Sat in reception 30 mins in pain with a broken leg. No pain meds given while they examined it. No instructions on how to use crutches, no paperwork handed to me when I left, follow up appointment in 3 weeks. Disgusting. No wonder our health system is a shambles with people working here who do no know what they are doing.
Terrible service and everything moved so slow.... Sat for 2.5hrs to be told to wear a brace that caused more pain and didn't give me a referral that I asked for. Listen to the patient they know what is wrong!!!

My mum recently collapsed and was rushed to Dargaville Hospital and the service was exceptional from start to finish, including doctors, nurses and all staff. Mum stayed overnight and our family were kept up to date with test results and mum's condition. I phoned in the evening and nurses gave mum the phone to speak to us. She was made to feel special and it helped us all as were were all worried.
