Beautiful bakery and cafe. The staff were friendly. The food was quite average. The chicken schnitzel dish felt a little basic as did the pulled beef. Really nice selection of deserts and pastries!
I had been eyeing up the picnic boxes on IG for a few weeks so was pleased that Danish Nosh was now in my expanded bubble. Ordered one for Grand Final weekend it didn’t disappoint. Had bagels, quiche, savoury pastries, croissants, cheese, pickles, salad and then there were the sweet treats. Packaged nicely too. I also couldn’t resist the chocolate baklava.
artisan bakery poppyseed pastry roll chocolate rugelach reuben bagel chocolate stuffed bagel plum & walnut strudel cookies salted pretzel biscotti almond butter crescent shortbread : @danish.nosh : Glen Huntly Road : Been wanting to try this artisan bakery specializing in traditional Eastern European and Middle Eastern-style homemade pastries, cakes and baked goods. : Be it bagels, cakes, biscuits or other pastries, they’ve got a range for you to choose from. Absolutely loved the Poppy Seed Roll Cake, such a unique pastry definitely worth trying.
Attended for brunch and some take away cake and pastries. Something could be done to improve service system as others served ahead of us had come much after us. With a restless toddler this isn’t great. Brunch was nice but on small side. Ordered sides which were forgotten about and needed reminding. Couldn’t enjoy with actual meal. Kind of ruined brunch experience for me. Pastries and cakes are delicious especially the cheese danish and cheesecake. They are on more expensive side but I think this fairly reflects the quality of the cakes etc. Perhaps a few more staff to serve and someone dedicated to table Service might be helpful. Would return
What a perfect place for coffee and brunch. An alluring restaurant in a quiet neighbourhood. The restaurant is separated into two sides, one with the counter and display of all fresh pastries and cakes, and the other, just sit down tables for eat-in customers. I had a full breakfast brunch here. The meal was good but the fresh and buttery smell of the pastries kept distracting me. I wish I didn't have the full breakfast so I could take away some of the pastries. A man, I believe the owner or the main chef kept coming out of the kitchen to greet and chat with the customers. Twice he asked my partner and I if we needed anything else or if the food is good. It makes you feel that they are sincere and genuine towards the customers.
These guys are amazing! Their service is warm, hilarious and great contributors to our community. We use Danish Nosh to cater our work morning teas, not only do they make it so effortless, their pastries are DELICIOUS! Thanks Yaniv, see you next time.
I love this place but I’ve noticed a few times when we have ordered both a skinny and normal coffee they pour the milk for both coffees out of the same jug. We would really appreciate it if our coffees were made to the correct order.
Such a great place to discover! Had a latkes with smoked salmon, shakshuka that comes with bagel and coffees. Coffees are fine, food is very nice although I like my shakshuka more flavouring and spicy. Large portions are very satisfying. Price is great too. Latkes were yummmm. Super nice Jewish ashkenazi stile cousin!
DO: The bagels and eggplant shashuka with side of Harissa for that chilli hit. DON'T: Leave without the NYC babka. Always reminds me of that Seinfeld episode. TIP: A great little place with delicious food and equally amazing coffee. Service is A+
Delicious and well priced catering. Danish nosh staff are incredibly friendly and flexible - they made everything a breeze
