I enjoyed taking a stroll through this mall. All the shops and amending you need all in one place. Lots of nice little coffee shops and restaurants as well to satisfy your hunger and caffeine fix. You need a grocery or two then you have that as well.
I love shopping at Mt Ommaney. There are lots of interesting shops to browse & the two big supermarkets Coles & Woolworths for groceries, not to forgetAldi. The Coles is particularly good, spacious with a good in house bakery. Then there is Target a really big one, Big W, JB Hifi & a food court. The centre itself is very clean, airy & specious
What an excellent gem of a place. All the major shops like Big W, Kmart. Target, Coles etc are here. There is a wonderful little Asian food court called 8 Street just before Coles!! Great concept with an authentic look and feel.
Plenty of parking, there are lots of interesting shops ex: Target, Big W, Coles, Woolworths, Kmart, Aldi,….
This place has worked hard to get better play area's for kids. Keeps families happy over Halloween and is very clean and tidy overall. Not extremely busy, so you feel like you have space when you go to the shops and feel happy shopping with kids around.
Located off a significant Brisbane Highway with plenty of entry/exit points Mount Ommaney Shopping Centre sits inside the safe & solid Centenary Suburbs. Anchored by 4 major grocery & variety chains it has numerous food outlets and speciality stores. Unlike other Centres crammed into feverishly busy semi-industrial zones with constant traffic, Mount Ommaney is a shopping oasis.
It’s great, has a big variety of shops and many nice employees I met along my visit there. It was very nice there and definitely recommend doing our shopping there.
This is a good little suburban shopping centre. It is smaller than the Indooroopilly shopping centre, so it may not be the best place to shop if you want a Myer/DJs or a wide range of specialty clothing retailers. But parking is a lot easier than Indooroopilly. Amazingly, parking is free and apparently unlimited. That is refreshing. This place is great for grocery shopping because you have Coles, Woolies, Aldi, Reject Shop and Sunlit all in the same complex. You also have the full set of BigW, Kmart and Target, plus a JB Hifi. There are three things that prevent this place from getting 5 stars from me: 1 the food court is very mediocre, compared to Mt Gravatt or Indooroopilly. Just your basic Maccas, Sumo Salad, Subway, a couple of other places. Eight Street a set of Asian food stalls is great, but I'm not always in the mood for that cuisine. It would be great to build something like Mt Gravatt shopping centre's new casual dining area with a Nandos, Grill'd, GyG, Corbett & Claude, etc. 2 there are too many 'specialty' carparks. It feels like 50% of the carparks near the entrances are taken up with AusPost parks, Coles direct-to-boot parks, MyCar parks, Smart Mobility parks, disabled parks, pram parks. I am in favour of parks for people with special needs, but it feels like overkill. At least half these parks are empty at any point in time. There is something like 30 prams parks near the carwash which takes up even more parks. It makes it difficult to park at busy times, especially around near the Kmart/food court entrance. 3 there is no Myer/DJs. At least give us a Myer.
Wasn't expecting much from a suburban shopping centre that isn't a Westfield, but was pleasantly surprised. Lots of variety from the big players to unique craft and budget stores, not to mention plenty of floor space so you don't feel crowded.
Great variety of shops/ stores. Plenty of parking undercover. Big food court. Clean, well lit.
