For me, the most important thing is the people. And here, as in other Dan Murphy stores I have visited, the staff are excellent. Friendly, welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable; this alone gets them a 5* rating. Add to this a wide range of wines, spirits, and beers at reasonable prices, and Dan is a winner. As if that wasn't enough, he has the best range of single malt Scotch Whisky in town! Need I say more?
Most of the time I order through click and collect and they are ready in no time. Very good location, just off Victoria Road opposite Oporto. There is street parking and also a underground car park that is never full. Staff are always great, friendly and helpful. Shelves are always full, never have issue with stocks. The shop does not get too busy usually only 2-3 customers. Makes it very comfortable to shop around when you don't know what you want and just want to walk around and take your time. Always come here and will be back very soon
A great location with a huge range of Beer, spirits and wines. Shopped here in the lead up to Christmas and the store was hectic however there was a lots of staff on hand to help find the perfect alcoholic beverages for present, also checked out very quicly.
Tried to use your Chat but no response and been waiting 40 mins. Then tried to phone you 1300 No. and says service between 8.00 am - 9.00 pm Mon - Fri. It's 4.40 pm on Thursday. After the recorded message the line hangs up i.e. can't get service from anyone on the phone, just says help yourself go online. Service certainly lacking at Dan Murphy's these days!
Accidentally dropped a bottle in a 6pk beer on reduced price, due to faulty packaging. Apologised profusely. Staff were very sympathetic. Offered a discount for our next purchase.

Now that's a bottle shop! Underground parking came in very handy with the horrible rain right now - I was tempted to cheat on the way down and use the lift with the carton of bottles in my arms, but the stairs are no hassle. Still pretty good to have the lift there though. Not many staff, given middle of a weekday, though it seemed like a popular place with customers in and out of the place while I was there. Checkout staff were very friendly too; top marks for a very nice place to grab a takeaway drink
Good customer service and amazing collection.
Great, except the phone service there sucks. Fair enough this isn't Dan Murphy's fault, however when I'm trying to get their specials info on my phone because the signs are being updated I subtracted a star.
