I walked into liquor heaven! Being a CDN and new to the Dan Murphy's world of spirits, I was overwhelmed by the experience! What a huge shop to find absolutely everything you need in, with great service too! Joseph at the front cash counter is a great ambassador for the Albany location; Thoroughly enjoyed this adventure into AUS culture, Cheers! Highly recommend!
Dan, the Man Murphy is , in My humbled Opinion ,is a Star Attraction of and for The Awesome town of Albany , Denmark , Mount Barker and Surrounding Country Towns . Mostly because not only can you purchase a Kings Bounty of Great Grog to suit a queen , but you also do not have to be , a Gastronomical alchemist grounded in Epicureanism ~~¿ . The range is universal andnya can call in and catch up with the locals
Excellent customer service. We found Ashley to be very friendly. A recent storm flooded the store and a lot of stock had to be removed from the shelves. But Ashley went out of his way to go out to the back stores and came back with what we were looking for. Happy customers!
I went to Dan Murphys to buy alcohol, while we were shopping a bespectacled employee came to ask us for our passports to continue our shopping! We are 25 years old! Our passports were in our car I offered to continue our shopping and show our ID at the checkout! Which she immediately refused. So we went to get a passport for two, she refused to let us continue our shopping! I DON'T SEE WHAT THE PROBLEM IS!!! Anyway I'm going to get my second passport so we can continue our shopping! This adventure is quite unpleasant, we know that the request for ID for 25 year olds is regular but such relentlessness! It's too much, just to annoy. We are disappointed with this experience
great store although wendy was rude as usual but apart from that best stop in town.
