Da Bronx is not what it used to be. The prices keep going up but quality isn't going up with it. Standard pizza price is now $28.90 and the sides are just as pricey. I was pretty surprised to see the garlic bread costs nearly $6! You can buy something very similar from the supermarket for $1.50 and the supermarket breads tend to taste better. I will say the last pizza I got from there had a good distribution of toppings, but not a lot of sauce and it actually tasted better the next day heated in the oven. I used to really like Da Bronx but with something like Greasys not too far away, I probably won't be back any time soon. Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian options though they are made in the same space as non vegetarian. They also offer vegan cheese. Parking: There is a lot of parking nearby Wheelchair accessibility: They have a wheelchair accessible entrance, though the shop is quite small so might not be the easiest to manoeuvre around in. Dietary restrictions: They offer a smaller 11" gluten free pizza. Also have vegan cheese available.
I can honestly see why there is so many 5 star reviews for this joint. Excellent pizza and service. Super easy to deal with and lovely service all round. We ordered 2x pizzas, the Empire State supreme & the Wall Street with pineapple bbq chicken . Hot, fresh, massive, delicious pizza. Can't really say to much more, was very impressed. Took a stab in the dark and also ordered a random corndog, had to fight my wife off from eating it all as I can honestly say it was insane how good it tasted for just a standard corndog. Note to self, order more next time!
Kinda expected a bit more buying from da bronx with so many 5 star reviews!!!. I ordered the meat lovers and the chicken supreme. Plus L chips For $26.90 a pizza i felt that the pizzas should have had more toppings but the toppings were only put on sparingly. Some toppings had such little amount and i felt i was eating a vegetarian when having the chicken supreme. And i wonder where all the toppings were on the meatlovers as well as it was only obvious to having pepperoni. The crust was perfect not doughy not too crispy. Dont know if i will come back
These guys never let you down… consistency is key and Bronx nail it every time. And what more they do it with a lovely smile, always great service and delicious pizza
Pretty fantastic pizza. Staff are super friendly and happy to make changes to the pizza's. So far we have had no issues with toppings, which is rare, and the distribution of said toppings has been fantastic. I would take half a point for the bases on the New Yorker style pizza's, as they are fairly dense and the crusts end up quite hard. It would be nice if they were more airy like at Crust, but they aren't bad otherwise. Overall, still a 5/5 pizza joint! Dietary restrictions: Adjustments were made for a gluten intolerance/sensitivity person in my party.
Good -My favourite pizza shop in ACT. I have been travelling from Turner for this pizza. -Tuesday $12 for 18 inch cheese pizza. -Friendly staff. -Thin pizza but very yummy. -Outdoor tables available. Bad -No delivery because it is too big.
We ordered Central Park pizza tonight and really dissatisfied with the pizza. It costed $29 and defiantly not worth the price. We did not get what we payed for at all, it was a barren pizza with minimal toppings only a few bits of pepperoni and cheese scattered around. We also ordered a fish and chips, this itself was another disappointment. The chips were dry, the fish was bland, and it looked like it was taken out a Woolies packet and fried. The standard and quality of the food has significantly dropped. Leaving us very unsatisfied, and not coming back in the foreseeable future. Which is sad since Bronx used to be our go to for pizzas.
Unbelievably Great Tasting, Giant Pizza’s! My eldest boy suggested we give Da Bronx a try on a bright yet cool Wednesday evening. I was pleasantly surprised to see the Da Bronx team in action preparing our pizza along with how quick it was delivered to our table outside. The pizza is huge, yes but the taste and the cheese and the flavourings oh my, I was in heaven. I would definitely go back again to devour some more and my kids will be wanting a full pizza to themselves, if we’d let them lol
New York style pizzas. Very large so aim for 1 pizza per 2 adults. Recommend the supreme. Recent price rises and less toppings have reduced value for money. $5.90 for 1 garlic bread is pretty steep!Food: 4/5
I quite like their diverse range of pizzas. I do find that they dont have enough cheese on their regular pizzas but the toppings otherwise are quite rich. Vegetarian options: They have plenty of vegetarian options with different toppings available. The vegetarian pizzas are quite yummy too. Dietary restrictions: I was able to order a gluten free base and so i find that they do take and accomodate different dietary requirements including halal pizzas.
