Twice in the past two months April/May 2026, I have had very poor experiences at this particular Dome location.nnOn one occasion, I purchased two large takeaway coffees on a public holiday. I paid the surcharge and waited 25 minutes, which I understand is reasonable given the day. However, when I arrived home and opened the cups, both were filled over an inch below the top—significantly less than a standard large. I had effectively paid more for less coffee. When we tasted them, both coffees were bitter and burnt, and we ended up throwing them away. I submitted a complaint to Dome Wanneroo with photos but received no response or apology.nnOn a separate visit, I came in with my children and ordered drinks and lunch. We received the drinks, but the food never arrived. I followed up multiple times and continued waiting. Eventually, I had to take my children outside as they were becoming very hungry and unsettled. After 50 minutes, staff apologised, saying the order had been forgotten or lost. The food was finally brought out, along with a complimentary stamped coffee card.nnI have now had to raise concerns about poor service twice, yet only one of these incidents was acknowledged.nn**Update**nI contacted the Dome group, as per the response, and the team were good at reaching out to make reparations. I appreciate the response and active engagement from the manager.
Very disappointing visit to Dome this morning. After repeating the order to my husband the food that came was missing my 6 year old daughters breakfast. Understand mistakes are made but after waiting until almost everyone else had finished, her waffle arrived without maple syrup and when we asked if some could be brought we were told to go and pay again. No GOGW for this oversight was even thought of and when I suggested it the server smirked at me saying everything needs to go through the till. How differently this could have gone. Service makes a big impact on people's experience and repeat custom. Guess Dome doesn't need to retain customers.
Coffee has been horrible lately. Tastes burnt. Or sometimes my cappacuino froth is way too much so there is little milk with my coffee. Please find consistent baristas. Coffee is a luxury these days and I'm extremely disappointed when I've recieved a bad one. The young Asian lady makes them the best. Please encourage that sort of qaulity from all of your baristas. Service is always great though. But I'll spend my money elsewhere if there is no improvement
Myself and my lovely Wife dined here today, 2/01/2026. As usual everything was 1st Class. All the staff are great as was the food. A special mention for Samir. It was very busy late this morning, he came to our table, he asked us what we had ordered, noticed our table number. He quickly returned with our order. Many thanks Samir and to all staff. I have been visiting the Dome Wanneroo for over 3 years and wanted to make some comments on a member of the team at this establisent.nAs a previous employee of over 27 staff member in the service industrynI have noticed this team member and how amazing she is.nHer name is Sarah and she is certainly an asset tobthe Dome Wanneroo as she has fantastic communication skills always making the customers feel welcomed with her a smile. Sarah's attention to detail when it comes to all aspects of her role is second to none. Sarah never stops with her duties always busy finding improvments whether that's helping the customer feel better or making sure the Dome establishment is clean organised and ready to open.nI find her pleasant' helpful professional and always with a smile and these are the little things that customers like myself notice and help us to return and keep coming week after week.nThanks Sarah.nDave AnthonynHappy customer
