Just ate at Dome Wanneroo. Ordered the crispy rosti with salmon and poached eggs. Was given bacon, strike 1. The pot of tea was barely warm, strike 2. The poached eggs were some of the worst I have seen, hard, unpleasant and inedible HUGE strike 3. The hollandaise was great, the salmon good, the rosti’s meh. But I was really hungry and ate what I could stomach and didn’t want to go somewhere else to eat after spending $60+ here. But this was a huge disappointing oh hell no, never again from me
Dome Wanneoo is always good. Dylan, Brooke, and the rest of the staff always remember our regular order and have friendly smiles on their faces.. I've never had a problem with the level of service, and the food is top-notch. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed. Wanneroo Dome is our favourite branch.
The food was consistent, though sometimes they miss the 'on the side' part but are always OK to fix it. But portions appear to have shrunk serving what seems to be a kids sized waffle as adult. The icecream bowl was almost as big as the waffle!!! I see there is new management which explains the cutting back and shrinkflation. The service has got progressively worse over time. The only staff member that acknowledges you are the ones that take your order. Our food/drinks are delivered silently without even asking whose food/drinks are whose and they never ask if that’s everything and never ask how our food is. Nothing has changed since I raised this in my initial review. We won’t return. Plenty of other venues happy to provide cheerful service that at least say hello when they bring something to your table. It’s become clear that poor service is this venues mantra.
Morning meeting with a client and he insisted on having a light breakfast. Dome was closest. We had a nice Late and I ordered an Avocado Smash and bacon on toast. Forgot the eggs on top of the bacon and Avo.. Well, had to eat them. Must say it was actually really nice and enjoyed it and will not in future ask for the eggs to be removed. Bacon was crunchy and tasty.nnStaff was friendly and the Dome was well laid out with plenty of space. Seating was available and clean. Could also take out paper work and not worry about it getting dirty from the table. Staff was friendly and very helpful. I can recommend The Doe at Wanneroo.
Great food today, had avo stack with salmon and hubby had brekkie. So much more avo on my stack than the Bankisa grove dome serves, and hooray the toast wasn't burnt. Hot chocolate was delicious. All the staff seemed happy.
