My partner and I loved going here!! I used to go when I was younger, I forgot how great it was. The staff were so kind and welcoming! And don't get me started on the pizza... it was amazing, I absolutely loved it and rate it highly! 100000% better than dominos. Overall, it's the perfect spot for a family-friendly pizza night. I'll definitely be back :

We went there for an early dinner. We have ordered the mushroom and bacon pasta + four-season pizza. The owner recommended we have some garlic bread, which didn't disappoint us. We even want to have an extra serving for breakfast! The pizza and pasta were excellent. The cocktail is refreshing, and the sticky date was the perfect ending. The service was amazing, and the food was at a reasonable price. We enjoyed it a lot and will return if we revisit Wollongong.

Pizza took over three hours to arrive,  normally I expect to wait at least two hours, food arrived cold and incorrect. This isn't a one off time this is the third time, and never any compensation offered. Shouldn't offer a service if it can't be completed within a reasonable time

Fantastic restaurant! We drive now to get here for our dinners and have recently discovered this hidden gem! We look forward to many more meals.  Staff are super friendly and kind. Great atmosphere to sit and enjoy a dinner within a family restaurant. Makes our family feel like we are dining in your Italian kitchen with yours.  Highly recommend this place! Thanks for a fantastic overall experience D’amatos!!!  Kid-friendliness: The staff are super kid friendly, even leave with a little treat. Great atmosphere!  Parking: Great location and plenty of parks around.

Just finished eating from here. I'm visiting from Melbourne. My cousin took me out here for dinner. I wasn't expecting much since there's so many pasta/pizza joints. I ordered mushroom cream pasta., garlic bread and sticky date. Boy it was a feast!  Garlic bread was awesome! Bread was crispy and light. Not too heavy compared to fast food joints. Garlic butter delicious.  Pasta was great! Fresh and delicious. Nice rich cream that didn't feel lethargic after a bowl. As good as any joint in Lygon St known for great italian restaurants in Carlton, Melbourne  Sticky Date with Ice cream was beautiful. The serving was massive and the ice cream counter balanced the sweet sauce very well.  Most of all staff were fantastic. They were very friendly and created a warm and fun atmosphere for customers to enjoy. Their enthusiasm was great to see as other restaurants I go to often don't have that. If you want an Italian restaurant that cares about their food, service and customers, then definitely come here.

0/100 - DON'T BOTHER. I had the WORST experience here. Ordered online through menu log from my house 5 minutes away. Waited OVER AN HOUR for my pizzas and they arrived cold. While I was waiting I tried to contact the restaurant and menu log customer service to get an update or a refund. The restaurant was very rude what happened to customer service and they wouldn't cancel my order - even though I hadn't received anything yet. Menu log said they couldn't do anything about it which is even worse since it's through their system. Now I only use Uber Eats because at least they hold restaurants accountable and provide refunds when requested for bad service and no delivery? When it finally arrived the delivery person was so horrible and rude. Didn't knock, didn't ring the bell, just left the food there. I only knew because I got the notification from my camera. DO NOT EAT HERE.

Great pizzas!! Love supporting small businesses. Great GF pizzas too and delicious  gelato. Can t wait to order again. Delivery/ pick up or eat in and reasonably fast and reasonable prices.Food: 4/5

D'AMATOS  has the best of every dish, call me hungry at times, but even when I'm not, It's just what I need! And the best service from phone to chef. What more can you ask for after a bad day and they do everything to make it better! Thank you      Vegetarian options: Amazing Greek Salad, or any salad, so fresh and satisfying

The amount of money iv wasted on giving this place another shot is getting ridiculous. I know it’s my own fault but I’m all for giving the benefit of the doubt and trying again. We spent $65 and got pizza dough that wasn’t fully cooked through again, this is the third time this has happened now and we paid $17 for a pasta that was literally flavourless. It did not taste like anything at all let alone a boscaiola.

Fantastic food, and wine , great service and very homely feeling around the resteraunt, the staff gave awesome service and seemed close with each other as a team, really good environment to go out to dinner with family or friends in ! Thank you D'amato's for being an old favourite we keep coming back to for our get togethers
