Pho broth taste is the second to none in Hobart. It was a bit of taking time to walk up from the pier area, but it was definitely worth to put such efforts. Pho was very fresh, warm, and even tasty enough to make a perfect day. Definitely recommended!
Delicious and authentic Vietnamese food We got a bun bo hue and special pho. Both broths were extremely flavourful and noodles cooked perfectly. Love their vietnamese coffee as well. Great stop for a quick but hearty meal. It seemed like a popular spot amongst tourist and locals so I’d recommend visiting during off peak hours like having a late lunch at 2-3pm. Their portions are relatively big and the prices are affordable. Extremely limited parking near the restaurant but plenty along the nearby streets, you’ll just have to walk a little.
Tasty, quick, and inexpensive. We enjoyed some freshly made rice paper rolls of duck and also the tofu lemongrass; the beef lemongrass Bahn mi sandwich; Vietnamese coffee, and some crispy pork spring rolls which were an accidental order and something we’d totally get again. There are no toilets just as a heads up. My husband thinks the decor could use an update and I agree. The food though was great. :
Very busy place but it’s worth of going once if you want something different, quick service, great food quality, everything was fresh, just one thing is noticed the chicken and the white rice both were a bit dry, not sure if was meant to be dry but overall the food was good. Parking available just outside the restaurant.
Omfg......seriously the best. Do yourselves the justice and go here. Amazing food, superior service and did I say the food is amazing. Food was divine. Goosebumps divine. Thank you very much and is now a must go to list on every trip to Hobart Town.
No pictures sorry... it was really really good... the pork chop with white rice and it comes with an additional soft fried egg... so I really enjoyed it. The pho was fragrant as well, soup was just right in flavour n texture. My kid ate the special fried rice and enjoyed it too... Being in Australia it's always chip's chips chips, no offence, the chips served all over are really good. But if you crave rice... look no further. Drive here and have a great meal with ur love ones.
Heard that this is the best Vietnamese food Hobart can offer, so we decided to give it a try. Overall, the statement seems to be correct: The pho dishes are good if you like Southern Vietnamese pho. Sweet bone broth with full of meat, but Hanoi Pho is not really Hanoi. It is quite sweeter and only difference is that it used stir-fry beef. The crackling pork rice was a disappointment, considering I am a fan of crackling pork: burnt and not intact skin, and not too big meat portion of meat for the price paid. I regretted this and wish that I’ve ordered pho instead. It is indeed best Vietnamese food for Hobart, but certainly not the best in Australia.
I tried the Beef Pho, Ice Vietnamese coffee, Ban hmi. The first restaurant that I tried was Ice Vietnamese coffee, and I fell in love with the coffee. Then I tried another restaurant, but the taste wasn't as good as this restaurant. The beef Pho and Crackling Pork Banh Mi were good as well.Food: 5/5
Authentic flavours and proportionate with the serving of noodles, meat and stock. The restaurant looked clean and service was great. Their BMT was a hit too.
Simple and delicious Viernamese meal. We ordered Vietnames salad and Char Siu Rice, both are tasty and the portion is quite generous. I will try different menus on my next visit.
