Story

Customs House is located at the top end of Newcastle not far from Nobby's beach and over looking Newcastle Harbour.
It's a perfect place to come down and have a quiet beer or enjoy a great meal from our restaurant.
From our verandah and beer garden we have an amazing view of Newcastle's foreshore which makes it the perfect spot to unwind from a long week or hard day.

Great food and excellent staff. They were happy to use a voucher for our meals, even though it was meant for “mains only” so we could save money on our lunch.

I came here with my friend for his birthday dinner. Everything was fantastic and our waitress Val was amazing :-. Very attentive service all throughout the night. The meals were delicious, I highly recommend the Wagu Surf and Turf, and the pannacotta dessert! Thank you for making my friends special night perfect. Will be back again.

A bit of a wait for entrees but overall excellent service from the lovely staff. Food was good. Nice to sit on the verandah and get the view.

Meals were nice..but over priced for the portion size. Nothing flash about the strawberry and cream dessert looked like a toddler had made it

We hired a room for our end-of-year meeting and dinner. The room was beautifully presented and very comfortable. My medium steak was well-done, which was disappointing, but the panna cotta dessert was amazing! Great service.
