Get yourself the one of the best Indian food from Curry Leaf Cafe located in Elwood ‼  This family-run & owned restaurant has been standing for SEVENTEEN 17 years  has won so many awards  AND visits from famous Australians   We had their Royal Feast 1 $35pp and got:  Samosas Best samosas we’ve ever had for sure! It came out hot & crispy, tasted homemade.   Chicken Tikka This was well marinated & the smoky flavor from being cooked in the Tandoor really shone through.   Lamb Shank Curry Super tender, melt-in-your-mouth lamb. Curry flavor was great to complement the flavor of the lamb itself. This was perfect being eaten with the papadams & raita yogurt to have that contrast of crispy & soft texture in one bite.   Butter Chicken Easily the best we’ve ever had! I’m obsessed with the smokiness flavor and the well balanced sweet & savory levels. This was perfect with naan or rice + raita if you’d like. Definitely my favorite!   ++ sides: rice, papadams, chutney, dips, naan, raita yogurt ** Free to choose 2 curries from the menu too  This feast is such a good deal. They’re very welcoming to your taste spiciness level, etc as well as generous with their portions     Time your feast well with their  Happy Hour session  4:30pm - 5:30pm AND 8:30 - 9:30pm to get $10 Cocktails or Mocktails   We highly recommend you to visit this place, not only you’re supporting Australian businesses, you’re also getting a great deal on delicious food & drinks ‼

No idea this place existed until I smelt it from the tram stop last week. We got takeaway last night and it was lovely. The portions were great and beautiful flavours. Will definitely eat again, the place is pretty and cosy too so will dine in sometime soon. Thanks for the awesome meal.

As someone who frequently visits this Curry Leaf restaurant, I can confidently say that the food here is simply amazing! I've tried many dishes here, but my absolute favorites are the chicken tikka masala and the tandoori chicken. The tikka masala has the perfect balance of creaminess and spiciness.  The biryani is also a must-try. It's a dish that never disappoints and always leaves me feeling satisfied. The combination of fragrant rice, tender meat, and aromatic spices is simply irresistible. I usually opt for this as my regular plus vegetable samosa.  The service here is excellent too. The staff is always attentive and friendly, and they never hesitate to recommend dishes or help with any dietary restrictions.  The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and inviting. The decor is simple but elegant, and the soft lighting sets the perfect mood for a relaxed evening out. Visited this place yesterday night. The seating and service was good. I ordered kadhai paneer, butter chicken, butter naan, rice. The quantity was very good. As far as taste is concerned, kadhai paneer and butter naan were very good 4/5, butter chicken was kind of average to above average.  Overall, a great place.

Curry leaf cafe is a hidden gem! Great service and chilled atmosphere, the food is sublime, succulent crispy paneer, there is so many rice options and the mango lassi is to die for! I tried the Lycheetini and loved it. Please support small business, high quality innovative indian cuisine!

Had a lovely butter chicken, malai prawns and garlic naans dinner! 100% recommended, they have options on how spicy you want your curries. So good.

Best Indian around, I won't eat anywhere else. I'm not a vegetarian but I've only ever had the vegetable dishes - the Baingan Bharta and Palak Paneer are perfect. Always hit the spot, great comfort food on winter nights.  Never eaten in, but delivery has always been within 20 minutes either side of estimate - good service in my books.
