Curry Express is an Indian cuisine dining/takeaway restaurant in Surfers Paradise, Queensland, Australia. We are a family-friendly restaurant with a warm and friendly ambiance and extremely helpful staff at your service.

Story

Indian cuisine is a varied and exciting as the lands and peoples from which it comes. Meet our owner Ashish Patel and Varun Nehra – Friends, Food Lovers, Chef and Partners. Both became friends sharing the passion for all things culinary and studying management in hospitality from the same college and batch. Partnership began with Curry Express.

When asked why Indian Cuisine in Australia, they say-Indian cuisine uses the whole palette of flavors, whatever your taste, whether you prefer mildly spicy or fiery hot, Indian cuisine has something to appeal to any palate, and the wide range of regional dishes and flavours is staggering in its diversity.

Best Indian food we have tried in the city so far. Staff was so friendly. Shrub have done excellent job We ordered six curries and each of them was delicious. Loved the food!!! Highly recommended. Will definitely visit again.
Always open AMAZING food, some of the best Chicken Tika Masala we have had, these lovely people work very long hours and even at the end of the day they are still super nice and always accommodating, awesome work to all staff
Their curries are fabulous although I particularly love the spinach & potato curry; it is one of the best! Friendly chef frequently comes out with freshly prepared curry. I am giving 4 stars due to a cold samosa. To give credit where it is due, the samosa was really tasty even though it wasn’t piping hot.

Good option if you are hungry and looking for something eat fast. We have thali with mix of veg & non veg options. Most curries have tomato as base which I didn’t like much. However the taste was good and the quantity was big. The service was good as well.
Absolutely delicious! I got the $12.99 meal deal that comes with curry, rice, naan and a drink and it was definitely worth it as the serving was quite large. They also gave us complimentary samosas whilst we waited for our food.
Been here many times and never disappointed The food is absolutely delicious and the service is friendly and fast! Kumar is a very happy and helpful man! Great Indian Food!
I ordered seafood basket but the new stuff gave me a wrong meal to take away. I phoned back, the boss apologised at once and offered me two free seafood basket meals. It ended up I shared the two meals with my colleges. The food was nice and the communication is hassle free, highly recommended.
