This is a very popular bakery. The food is delicious but the range is limited compared to other good bakeries. The pies are outstanding and well priced - on average $6.50 each. The staff are friendly and efficient and the bakery itself is quite compact. The drive-through is very popular and a novelty you still have to leave your vehicle to order your food as there is parking all around anyhow.

The sweets were just as good, nice balance of sweetness without being over the top, and perfect with a coffee.nnWhat stood out just as much as the food was the service. The staff were friendly, quick, and easy to deal with. No stress, no long wait, just good energy all round. It makes a difference when people actually seem like they enjoy what they’re doing.nnOverall, it’s a solid stop if you’re anywhere near Mareeba. Good food, great service, and super convenient — definitely worth pulling in for.
This place should get an award just for there pastry , it's nice to have a pie that does not fall apart. My steak and pie was very nice and filling. Definitely coming again.
As soon as we walked in and smelled the aroma of a lovely bakery we knew were going to get more than a pie.nnStaff were lovely and created us. We were able to look around and we weren’t rushed to make a choice.nnWe got pies and custard tarts and were very satisfied with our purchase
Wow! We stopped in on our way through Mareeba and I’m thrilled we did! Its an authentic country bakery with big pies, fresh cakes, huge loaves of bread and lots of other treats all for completely reasonable prices especially for being fresh.nnWe ended up getting Potato & Steak Pies, Steak & Mushroom Pie, Fresh Cream Bun, an Apple Cinnamon scroll cluster, a loaf of apricot and nut bread, and a super tasty fresh carrot cake!nnAbsolutely would frequent this bakery if we lived here, in the meantime, when we are coming through we now know our “must” stop. :
