A good marina tucked in behind Fannie Bay. It's an extensive area with shops and plenty of restaurants as well as apartments. The marina appears to be well kept.nnIf you are sailing into the marina, you will need to call ahead to ensure they have space for your yacht. Plus, you will need to enter via a lock. If you miss the lock hours, it's easy to moor in the bay or near the channel.nnI'm not sure about yachty facilities as I didn't need to use them.nnI would suggest they need to sort out their rubbish disposal options.nnThere are lots of dining options, and it's a great spot to go and watch the sunset on the grassy bank above the beach.
From the marina, one can appreciate the view of the lovely houses and boats. There are many walking areas around the marina, leading down to the beach where you can witness a beautiful sunset.
4.5 starsnLuxury place. Apartments, restaurants, lawn, and ferry-terminal.nCame here late afternoon for 3 times in 6 days trip in Darwin.nNot hard to find a free carpark here.nBeautiful place for eating, gathering, waking and sunset. Relaxing.
Easy walking distance from town. But also bus service. Take off point for ferry’s to different islands . I went to Bathurst Islandlots of lovely restaurants to come home to for a cold beer and delicious meal.
