The decor is quiet, great atmosphere as we enjoy the friendly staff and amazing piano accompaniment. The food is yummy and price is reasonable. We tried their tasting menu and are quite impressed. Downside is the view is not that spectacular as one might have hoped, and the decor is a bit old fashioned for our taste, not a wow factor.
Great experience. Some of the other reviews said the place is outdated. I don't think this is the case. It's pretty elegant. If anything, maybe the chairs could do with an update. This place is located on level 5 of the workers club. The floor revolves very slowly and give enough time to enjoy the view. Our food came out quickly and was good. I would not say this place is as good as some other restaurants I have been to but for the West it is pretty good. You can expect to pay around 150 upwards for a couple on a date with entree, mains and some wine. The alcohol's pretty expensive. Chivas single shots around 15 dollars a pop. Cocktails around 20 dollars a pop. The views are ok. Clear and not obstructed by buildings. We went at night so it was hard to see outside. However during the day I would say it would be nice. Staff were friendly and attentive. I would come back.
We enjoyed a family birthday dinner here. We arrived in time to watch the sun go down and enjoy the views during the light and dark hours. The service was a bit slow but the food was very good. We will be back.
This is a clean and fairly classy restaurant in the Blacktown area. It revolves too which is quite unusual in this part of Sydney. Unfortunately while you can see for long distances, most of the scenery isn't the best. The city is a bit too far away to see details and there are no large bodies of water in sight. The blue mountains however are spectacular as always and the view is only set to improve as the city around it grows. The atmosphere is nice, it's quiet and there's a piano where some very light music is played. It's quiet enough that it doesn't interfere with the conversation. Table service is excellent. The meals are reasonably sized though admittedly a little expensive. You're paying for the view. There's not a lot of choice and the fare is quite simple. It could do with some improvement. The cocktails are great though. Access to the restaurant is via the Blacktown Worker's Club which means that it's subject to the usual sign in process and 5km radius restrictions. It also means that there is ample parking. For the most part, it's all "disabled friendly" but there's a strange walkway on the way to the restaurant which has two sets of unnecessary stairs without visible ramps. That area needs work.
Chef Jessy has definitely brought fantastic Italian fine dining to the west! Beautifully presented and refined dishes that exhibit complementing and contrasting flavours. Definitely try their lobster tail, pork belly, and finish off with a lemon meringue tart. You will not be disappointed!
One of the best things about being a #foodie are the hidden gems you come across! Did you know that there is a revolving fine dining resturant in Blacktown? @cucina.locale truly exceeded my expectations with beautifully presented and perfectly executed dishes which included: . Twice cooked pork belly Pan fried scallops Braised lamb shoulder Sydney rock oysters Wild caught barramundi Caviar & chocolate . If you're looking to see more of Sydney and try a new place I cannot recommend Cucina enoughA very enjoyable dining experience!
This place is an unexpected treasure in Blacktown. Lovely food at reasonable prices. I'd recommend going during the day, or close to sunset as the views really aren't that interesting after dark. Loved the piano player, talented and entertaining.
The food was great but it was just a bit pricey. The restaurant had a better view then I expected. If you sit close to edge near the windows, that part does not move so you will not get the 360 degree experience. I went for lunch and it wasn’t very busy but the staff and service was great. Great experience.
I visited this Restaurant for high tea with friends. As the only revolving restaurant in Western Sydney, they really gave me the 'wow' factor when I entered the restaurant. Love the stunning 360° view spans from the Blue Mountains to the heart of Sydney. The price in understandably quite high due to the elegant decor and amazing view they provide to the customers. However, the dessert and savoury menu from the high tea were not outstanding. I am yet to try their other menu.
I booked in my parents and I for Christmas lunch at the revolving restaurant, only to be seated in the section that DOES NOT REVOLVE; therefore defeating the entire purpose and reason I chose the place. We thought a revolving restaurant with views to the Blue Mountains and city sounded nice. Our section was at the window and overlooked a Physiotherapist and a cartridge shop and the only view we got was of south Blacktown backyards. I had to walk a lap of the restaurant before leaving to have a look at the view. Please advise diners if they are not going to be utilising the revolving aspect of your restaurant in future as it may change their minds about booking, and to avoid sheer disappointment! Our food was great. We had to ask for our drinks 3 or 4 times which was a letdown. After I left I looked at my receipt and saw that my mothers drink which was a glass of vodka and coke, was priced at $12.80!! $8 was charged for the Vodka nip, and $4.80 for the can of coke it was mixed with. We found this to be absolutely ridiculous! I wonder what a vodka and coke costs downstairs in the club.
