We’ve been coming here for the past six years whenever we visit Chelsea Beach, and it has never once disappointed. The consistency in quality over time is truly impressive.nnThe pizza and pasta are always excellent, and on a warm summer’s day, the gelato is the perfect finishing touch.nnA place that continues to deliver, year after year. One every summer and sit on the road and have a feast till late after a sea swim.
My partner was in the mood for some wood fired pizza which is a little more difficult to come by in the south eastern suburbs.nnWe came across Cucina Dolce and decided to give them a shot. They have a wide variety in their menu which is excellent, with lots of pizza and pasta options on offer.nnWe called to order over the phone for pickup, the young gentleman answered, sounding flustered and prompt to take the order.nnThe pizza was nice however the takeaway pasta serving size and taste was underwhelming. The staff’s demeanor lacked hospitality and homage for paying customers.nnOverall a good experience but certainly room for improvement at this family run business.
Cucina Dolce makes a solid, well-balanced pizza. The toppings taste fresh and clean, and the combination works nicely without feeling heavy.nnThe highlight is the base crispy on the outside, soft inside, and holds everything perfectly without going soggy.nnSimple, fresh, and done right.
Great customer service, delicious food, excellent strong coffee and always greeted with a beaming smile. Inessa and Freddy truly value their customers. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. If you’re in the Chelsea area, stop by for a strong coffee, a yummy toasty or both
The owners are very personable and responsive! Such a pleasure to eat here and feel appreciated. We go to Melbourne every month or so and will go out of our way for some delicious food and real Italian hospitality!
