The range & quality was amazing as always but tonight the service we received while eating in at Crust Shellharbour blew me away. I have not received this level of service for a loooong time & was unaware it still existed. The waffles with the salted caramel sauce were an amazing compliment to the garlic bread, garlic prawn pizza & Morrocan lamb pizza.
Waited 1.5hrs for delivery. Rang and asked for update, we were offered free garlic bread and drink which wasn’t given to us when the food finally arrived. We rang after 1 hour and was told the pizzas were just put into the oven. Pizzas were basically all cheese pizzas with a sprinkle of toppings, like 6 pepperonis on the signature pepperoni pizza and 5 small cubes of avocado on the chicken avocado pizza.
Disappointing! Took 1.5hrs for our order to be delivered. When it arrived, all pizzas were cold. We asked for no fresh chilli, but got extra fresh chilli! None of the pizzas were sliced properly and we had to cut them ourselves. Very frustrating and disappointing.

Poor Service - took an hour and a half to get our pizza delivered, had to call three times and every time the delivery hadn’t even left. Flagged the poor service with the manger and they agreed that they are definitely under staffed. The boss really needs to consider his business and work harder to provide a better service l. This isn’t the first experience that we have had that has been disappointing with Crust Shellharbour.
We have been ordering with Crust for years and have always enjoy their product. What I don't enjoy is having to wait between an 1.5-2h overtime for a delivery, despite setting a delivery time 2h later through the website. Unfortunately this isn't the first time this has happened. I understand the staff do their best on busy nights, however I believe that there were not enough staff for a rainy weekend night. Our call went unanswered for 20 minutes before a frazzled employee answered the phone apologising. The poor thing sounded like she has spent the night dealing with exactly the same kinds of calls as ours demanding where our food is. I also wish that the franchisee had the ability to adjust the ETA on orders, giving real time estimate on pick-up and delivery. This would help customers choose if they wish to wait during busy periods or go elsewhere. Hoping this helps others in the future when deciding to order here on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday evening. Even ordering ahead of time doesn't help apparently.

I ordered CHEESY garlic bread- easy enough, right? Wrong; waited 25 MINUTES, got into the car only to find it was regular garlic bread- absolutely hopeless. I understand you're busy- but it's garlic bread, do better.
Crust responded to this review telling me to contact the store. I'll not use or recommend again. The issue is not mine. Dissatisfied to the max Ordered early last Sunday evening, using their app. No tracking, no SMS, no alerts and no order acknowledgement. Pizza showed up close to 1.5 hours later... barely warm. The same night, we ordered Hungry Jack's, had tracking, prompt and most importantly, the food was hot. Moving away from the cold slow pizza, what annoyed me the most was the arrogant attitude of the person behind their email system whom sent me a personal email asking among other things...what outcome I was seeking, obviously making out that I may have been seeking a free pizza. NO, just fix your service
