So good. I had to tip twice. What a modern charming Italian. Parking was a pain but even that is not enough to knock a star off. The table was booked online and was quick and convenient, some of the staff were Italian and so was a couple of the customers so you know its a good place. The waiters were friendly and engaging. The sauces were fresh, along with the pasta. It was clean neat and very nice.
Enjoyed the whole experience here.... lovely place and relaxing music. The Mussels in sauce were so tasty along with the sourdough bread! Venison dish was delicious and we'll presented! Friendly efficient staff...well done

We all had a brilliant meal here. The food tasted amazing. All the staff were so kind and just lovely. I went for my 24th birthday and we made comment to our waiter that it was my birthday so when we ordered puddings they sang happy birthday to me with a candle in my sticky toffee pudding. I was embarrassed but thought it was nice of them to do that off their own back. I'd definitely go back again. The 1 bad part of this is there's no onsite parking. So you have to park on roadside.
Been coming for over 12 years now but extremely upset today phoned at 5.05pm to book for three was told they needed the table back for 7pm I was totally fine with that, because it was a late booking on our side so I was grateful to get a table gave my surname as usual I always do, then arrived at 5.35pm and the tall lady said she didn't have any details of the booking then the lad with her looked and he said the same, but it's the way she looked at us and spoke to us that wasn't acceptable as SHE had forgotten to put our name in her bookings diary she was rude and unhelpful I was close to walking out the door, we try and come at least once a fortnight but it just wasn't a good experience today it has really put me off for coming back soon. Food good and table staff polite as usual thank-you to them.
Amazing food and amazing service from the staff! Just had the calamari nearly sublime tenderly presented on a bed of tartar. Mmm Gnocchi nestled in a light sauce with mushrooms, onion & a ham! HEAVEN! Copious Moretti & f8nished with a Limoncello!!!!!

Had a lovely meal here earlier this week. Waiting staff were all friendly and chatty, more than capable of having a laugh and making some suggestions when asked. Food was absolutely spot on. Really great food and plenty of choice. Even with the £20 lunch menu the portions were full size unlike other restaurants. The waiters were great, friendly and attentive. I love the decor - really trendy, toilets included! Would highly recommend.Food: 5/5
Poor starter of bread and oil. Came in a deep dish which was badly chipped. So deep the balsamic couldn't be reached without swamping the bread in olive oil which wasn't nice at all. They offered to replace starter but by that time I'd eaten half of my wife's delicious pate and fig chutney which was lovely. But the pasta oh my rigatoni with Italian sausage was the best I've had. And my wife's rigatoni was equally outstanding. No room for deserts due to generous portions. Lovely place perfect service and staff all very nice. Just ask about parking when booking and don't drove around for ten minutes like we did. Parking is available. Would definitely go back best Italian meal in a long time.
