Crust pizza Hornsby was our go to pizza outlet, no more. I rang in our order and was told the order would be ready for pickup in 15 minutes. I arrived 22 minutes after placing the order, I was told it would be another 7 minutes. I sat and spoke to a fellow who was also waiting for his order. At 45minutes after placing my order I recognised the pizzas I ordered being prepared, I received my order 58minutes post order, I showed the girl my phone indicating the elapsed time from placing my order. Unfortunately these were nowhere near good quality pizzas. We will not be going back.
Ordered a Truffle Beef and Garlic Prawn pizzas last night, they arrived at the specified time, hot and absolutely delicious. They were the the tastiest pizzas I’ve ever had - highly recommend giving them a try, we will make them our regular Friday night takeaway. Asquith
Wish I read the reviews before ordering. Was absolutely starving and ordered a Crust Delivery as we'd been drinking and probably couldn't legally drive. The website gave a 30 minute delivery estimate. Took nearly 90 minutes to turn up. No communication from the store. A simple call to say the were busy would have been sufficient. The Pizza was hot and more than acceptable but we won't be using them again.
Repeatedly given the benefit of the doubt and without fail ALWAYS have delivery delays, WITHOUT FAIL! Better off getting it delivered via Uber eats. They called to tell me that there’s only 2 drivers available. Invest in your shop and get more drivers considering it’s always an issue. Don’t call your customers to tell them it’s better we pick up our pizza. Stupid! Also, foods most of the time cold too. Ordered my food an hour and a half ago, I’m still waiting!
Absolutely ridiculous! Waited 1 hour and 40 minutes after being told 30 minutes. On top of that, shop calls me to ask me to pick up. Happens every time I order for delivery. They don’t even offer anything for delay or cold food. Recommend ordering via Uber eats if you do go ahead to purchase. If you don’t have enough delivery drivers then maybe find more considering you guys are so busy
Waited over two hours for our dinner when receipt said 30minutes. Many phone calls later it arrived and spoiled our gathering. Emailed Crust Crust: "Sorry, talk to the shop" Emailed them the order, receipt, timings etc No response. Don't order from this shop if you are hungry and want your food in under 2 hours. I very rarely leave a one star review, but this is earned.
Used to be the go to pizza place. Now, they’re inexcusably slow and I have multiple friends who have had encounters with rude staff e.g being laughed at or completely ignored while staff have a conversation. Pizza is still good.
i dont know how you ruin peri peri chicken but theyve ruined it. They put minced chicken on it with like 1 or 2 actual chicken pieces feels empty and cheap for a premium pizza brand this is dissapointing. I am paying $23 a pizza dont cheat me on ingredients
Very large store. No seating. Very empty. But the pizza has been consistently good.
I'm amazed that this place is still open, considering the overwhelming amount of recent negative well deserved reviews. Consistently late, every single time by 20-30min. The delivery drivers and staff are nice enough but the manager is a joke. GOD FORBID you try to complain to him, he immediately gets defensive and tries to blame you for everything. Anything wrong happening at his restaurant is nothing short of a miracle in his eyes. Had to cancel an order recently, a mere 12 calls and 30min later someone finally picks up and I'm told the manager will call me back - which he does in 10min. Shockingly after 40 minutes, my pizza is done and the order cannot be cancelled. I got in contact with Crust Support and thankfully they were able to give me my money back and apologise for the situation, neither of which the manager was capable of.
