Very apparent lack of upper management care and action currently with this gym.nnMost prevalently, there is inadequate air conditioning and circulation on the gym floor. The cooling/circulation system appears to be down which has been raised by multiple members of staff and clients and no action has appeared to have been taken. The gym currently only has two mounted swivel fans down one end of the gym, often which aren't turned on. When turned on is insufficient in maintaining an appropriate level of cooling and humidity. Multiple gym members and staff have raised concerns and expressed experiencing symptoms of heat stroke. The heat and humidity, particularly later in the day is completely unacceptable and management of the centre are not currently taking appropriate action.nnMultiple issues across the gym continue to go unactioned/followed up by management. The same treadmills have been out of order for 6+ months. Rollers and gym mats that previously had been available, albeit majority of which were broken, have since been removed and not replaced on the gym floor.nnOne older female member of staff on multiple days has begun conducting personal training sessions with clients whilst on a reception shift, leaving the front desk unattended and other members of the gym waiting and unable to access the gym. This was observed across multiple days.nnIt's a shame for the handful of younger reception staff members and PT's associated with the gym who provide high quality customer service and care for the gym members to currently have the gym tainted with inappropriate management currently taking place.
Strength area is excellent, enough racks to go around. The platforms that they use have great stability and rare slips when doing squats or deadlifts. Although the rest of the equipment is quite bizarre where they jerk around and move a lot, very different pin load machines that I haven't used and seen before. They aren't quite good in my opinion. Place would be great for beginners, though.
Do not join this gym! Looks OK on the surface, but it is a really out of date, out of touch gym. Loads and loads of unused 90's cardio equipment, not enough free weights space, and all the weights are in pounds instead of kgs. Most of the time it smells bad too. Lots of people training without deodorant. I'd give zero stars if I could! Looking forward to cancelling my membership.
I have been coming here for over a year and the staff are always so lovely and welcoming! Special shout out to Sienna who is always there for a quick chat and actually remembers things about your life!!nI always look forward to even a brief greeting with the staff.nOh also the equipment is great too!!!
Very disappointed with this gym. They increased my weekly payments without my consent and yet removed 90% of classes. The group program currently is terrible. Hardly any HIIT classes. Sent a feedback email and got no reply.
