This is a motel that would be overwhelmed with accolades if it was in a higher profile area.nThe staff incredibly helpful with nothing we requested too much. Thank you.nThe rooms were well maintained, incredibly clean and wee fitted. Top marks.nLocated on the New England a short distance south of Crows Nest it provided the perfect springboard for us to get away early heading north. If you were heading towards Toowoomba taking a room here will save a lot a stress.nWe’ll be back.
A warning to othersnI have been a long standing visitor to Crows Nest always staying with Rob and Rob ,the previous owners . And friends we always loved our stays .we visited our Aunty who was a resident in the Aged Care facilitynSadly she passed and her service was on Wednesday 1st November..The day of an extreme fire warning .I watched all news and made the decision to not travel up .This was also out if fear after experiencing the 2012 fire in Crows NestnI rand at 6.30am and spoke to a male I assume the owner and explained my situation .It was not an easy onenMy account showed 175 dollars pending on checking on the 1st the whole amount was deductednToday I have phoned and been sworn at by the owner .,The police have been informednDo not pre book with your card details
Crows nest motel is about 1km South of town. There rooms are tastefully appointed with a reasonably high end bathroom design. We really appreciated that a hair dryer was available in the room and tissues were supplied along with the usual toiletries.nThere is a shared facility available to guests which offers washing and drying machines, a laundry sink and a microwave.nWe would gladly visit again.nCheers and enjoy.
No doona, only micro fibre blankets in cupboard. Bathroom good size but poor shower head. Spotless room. Compared to other motels used on our trip was overpriced by about $30.
Did not stay, as I phoned to check clarification of details on the website, was rudely spoken to and was hung up on, I phoned back and was yelled at that there would not be any discount. I did not ask for any discounting only a clarification. Phone manners appalling.
