Quite the delightful little romp. Live music, cheese board and wine. Must say the cheeses and mixed condiment’s were deliciously presented and paired. The wine complimented them well, and the vibe was great. Views are stunning. Bit busy but in a good way.
Great atmosphere' very friendly and attentive wait staff and Host. Elegant dishes, great house wine and ale's. Fantastic scenery while you dine of the vineyard and grounds. Our waiter Greg was great.
Absolutely amazing. Look out for the yummiest food and wine and the best service. Took a friend there for her 95th birthday and the service was exceptional. Especially Daisy! So lovely. Recommend.
Don’t book the picnic basket experience. We booked three people at $50 a head, was meant to be a special day out. For this price we were served four crackers per person that were a mouthful each see picture I posted plus a single bottle of wine to share between three people. One of us luckily ordered the trout which was a little bit better value. At first I thought it must be a mistake because at this price you are paying more to eat these anchovy crackers on a blanket outside than you would pay in the restaurant, where they are an already expensive $25. With a $32 bottle of wine split three ways that would be $36 a head. I thought there must be something more, if I raise this surely someone will understand, apologise for forgetting something crucial and give us another bottle of wine or something. Nope. Raised it super politely with the guy, he was one of the owners it turned out. There had been no mistake, he gave no apologies, and the guy completely snubbed us when we left. We had actually intended to buy a case of wine for a friends party the next day, but just felt so unapologetically screwed over that we left without buying anything more or doing a tasting. I’m in hospitality. The irony of this penny pinching is you end up earning less. The bottle of rose we drank was average. We all went to find more food after since we were starving. Could have been such a great experience, scenery is great even despite the highway running alongside the property.
The winery is a beautiful place to spend weekend afternoon. The abience and scenery is nice. However bar food is dissapointing and tasteless. Had to return the fries which were cold. Trout in beatulnut leaf was tasteless and could do with some seasoning. Chicken slider was burnt. Was disappointing for the exorbitant price charged.
We celebrated our 25 year wedding anniversary here. We decided on the 2 course lunch and the menu had a good selection. The food was tasty and beautifully presented. The staff were very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The wines were superb and the location and scenery were incredible. We were lucky to have a glorious sunny day. I highly recommend this winery and we will be back soon.
The whole experience was amazing from the stunning view across the vineyard to the incredible food of which we thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful! Our group ordered three courses and every meal was superb and thoughtfully created. Our waiter was so friendly, knowledgeable and looked after us extremely well, and again at the cellar door. Three cheers to the chefs! And thank you for a very memorable afternoon.
Fantastic wine and beautiful scenery. Love this place so much! Will definitely be visiting there again soon!
I was so disappointed by my experience here today. We came to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and while the view was stunning, everything else was lacking. The service was incredibly slow - slow to be seated, slow to be served, even slower wait for the food. And after all the waiting the food was very very small, and although pleasant, was not particularly delicious. The wine was ok, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it. Have heard great things about this place, so hopefully just a bad/understaffed day, but I wouldn't choose to go back here.
We came in here for the 2 course lunch and everyone left raving about their delicious experience here at lunch. The prawns with black garlic butter was cooked well. But the pan fried Barramundi was cooked perfectly, sitting atop flavourful morsels of spanner crab. I honestly can't remember having a better plate of fish than this. Paired with some of their delicious whites, it's a must for any seafood lover. They also have happy hour between 3-4pm, which I'll certainly have to come back for.
