I don't know if it is because I have been on a health kick for a few weeks or because I have been eating my frozen prepared food on the road but my $13 Parmi night Parma was a hit! The bar worker was a great chic. Dog friendly beer garden. Great pub. Staying at the caravan park next door and would definitely come back again when I am next in the area.
The restaurant was booked out we ordered two take away meals it was super fast and they were fantastic. The best gravy, quality crumbed steak, fresh vegetables all Cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Had their rib filet tonight, asked for a rare steak which came out like a well done roast. The mushroom sauce also turned into dianne sauce. When asked, I was told I had the correct steak. I was asked if I wanted another steak but everyone knows when you send your meal back what happens to it… Wouldn’t recommend… Country pubs don’t seem to know what a rare steak is…. I was so looking forward to a great steak but was really disappointed…
Outstanding service. We attended for lunch and was pleasantly surprised at the price. Great food. Outstanding customer service from Laura & Sarai. 10/10 Ladies. Lovely service and very clean bistro.
I called to order takeaway for my family at 8pm just after we arrived at the caravan park after an 8 hour drive. I made an order for 4 people and they took my name and number and told me they would phone me when the order was ready for collection. After 45 minutes of not hearing from them I decided to walk around from the caravan park to the restaurant to see if it was ready. I was greeted by an obnoxious patronising and extremely unhelpful waitress who took less then a minute to look around for my order to then tell me there was no record of it despite me showing evidence of the 3 minute phone call we had 45 minutes earlier. Then she proceeded to tell me there was nothing she could do about it in a curt and unprofessional way that the kitchen has closed at 8:30pm. I asked where else she would recommend to eat as it had now hit 9pm and she proceeded to tell me she doesn’t know or likely just didn’t care. Everything in the town was closed. What a great welcome to Dalby!
It was all about the food for me. We had the Barra and the squid and it was cooked to perfection. After having burnt rubber aka squid at Noosa it was a delightful surprise to have food of the quality the Criterian served. Great Job Chef
This is a great place to stop for lunch. Kids meal only $7.50 and the quality was out of my expectation. Lunch Special only $10 and Again potion was super generous and taste very good too.
Stopped in for a steak and were very surprised and impressed by the cheap prices and excellent quality of the food. Service was friendly and helpful! We will be back best value steak around!!!
Wait staff always lovely, great rib on the bone and nice selection of beers. Not cheap but no more expensive than anywhere else. Can be hard to get a table after 6.
Tonight 19 december at the criterion was a ok the parmy was great for parmy night Wednesdays. But the quantity for the cheesey pasta probably wouldnt suit a child above 5 yrs old could be improved but it was still nice flavours thru dish. Staff always friendly. The table wasnt where i would of liked it considering i booked it and ask for other side of place not at the bar area with arcade games. But u can't win them all. There again 17 October 2018 went to the wednesday night double parmys night well worth it still get a lot of salad and chips with the two parmy schnitzel. With a variety of toppers too. 4 months ago Great place to eat got the full USA ribs for $32 it was worth it meat falling off the bone. Also got the 5 kids meals and chicken schnitzel. All meal cane out hot and quick as per order. Kids meals come with free ice cream and a good serving for kids. If you got 5 or more people good to book ahead. This is a Friday night and it was a little busy by 7pm this night. The staff was great and helpful. The nice fireplace with couches a nice touch. For a quiet drink or the main bar or beer garden for more socail atmosphere. Beer garden huge TV is great too.
