Young male staff member who sat us down was really personable and suited his role. We enjoyed out salt and pepper calamari but our lamb cutlets and chicken parmi were very dry and a struggle to get through.
Super friendly and very accommodating. Food was lovely, and also the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. My friend made the booking and said she hit VM couple of times trying to confirm booking but never got back to us. Otherwise super lovely!
Happening place. Older crowd enjoying their afternoon / evening betting and sports. We went for dinner- outdoor seating. Noise level good. Great menu choice and I had it narrowed down to three items and based on my friends exclaimed cry when I mentioned the Pommy Parma, that was set. I delight of chicken schnitzel topped with mashed potato, pies and sausages along with gravy. Nice chips to accompany. Fairly quick service. Friendly. Worth the visit.
My fellow diners had the $25 lunch deal - main + drink & enjoyed. I had entree serve of calamari which was hit & miss. Few pieces were ok but majority was tough/rubbery. Disappointed.
It's nice that they have gluten free options, but my experience today was disappointing. I ordered a gluten free schnitzel, and when it was brought out I double checked that it was gluten free. The server went back to the kitchen and checked, and confirmed it was not gluten free as it hadn't been put through as such. The lady that took our order came and apologised, which I appreciated, but tried to say that she didn't know I'd wanted it gluten free, and that we needed to pay the surcharge before leaving. Given it was their error, and I had to wait 10-15 mins for the correct meal to be brought out while my partner finished his, I strongly feel that they should have just let the $4 surcharge go for the inconvenience, especially considered we'd already paid $86 for lunch for 2. The schnitzel itself was ok, but quite soggy. Drinks were also overpriced, $14 for cider on tap and $7.50 for a soft drink. I don't think I'd be rushing back anytime soon.
We came for the Monday night trivia, had a great time even though we lost added bonus the parmis were great! We'll definitely come back and would recommend

Called in for a drink about 5ish, minimal patrons present however it appeared to be an effort for bar staff to be welcoming although he did thank us after we bought a drink. We didn't feel enticed to stay so left after one drink.
Disappointed TBH, the staff told me that the chef is too easily upset to swap out a salad for some chips. We purchased the extra bowl of chips for about $10 The nachos first came out with beans after been asked without, the second serve of nachos came out without beans but no salsa. 3rd time lucky and 20mins after everyone else had eaten, the meal came out as ordered The food was Ok, nothing amazing but nothing wrong other than nachos. We disappointed with a $200 table, a small amount of fries for a child couldn't replace a salad, just to save upsetting the chef on a slow Monday night.
Food was presented well and a large service, however the food was not nice at all. Expensive and tasteless. Would have got a better feed at maccas.
