Put on hold for 1 hour over a simple matter. They state all their call centres are located in Australia but I honestly could not understand about 70% of the 3 customer “service” officers I spoke to, who had very thick Indian accents. Loose the banks, buy cryptocurrency instead. Banks are the dinosaurs, crypto is the asteroid
This is to commonwealth bank in general. Interest rates are low. But mainly I closed my account because of how the terms changed. They said in the new terms that I’ve got to pay a $15:00 fee for some transfer that should be easy enough. On top of that if you don’t have more than $10:00 they will close your account without telling you and hence they get to pocket the money. This is plain dishonest and the amount does not matter.
Terrible bank, poor service, bounced from one staff member to the other and then had to wait 30 minutes and told they cannot do a simple transaction. Staff knowledge of the banking system and customer service is very poor. Also whilst i was waiting I overheard another customer complaining he has been waiting for over a month for a call back from a Commonwealth Bank staff member. I have had poor service in the past from this Commonwealth Bank branch. It seems nothing has changed.

Very disappointed with services of commonwealth bank, after waiting for long hours on phone, they don’t have any answers for your enquirers
Don't ever go there if you are in a hurry. Average wait time for service with a teller is 12 minutes. Most of the time there is only one teller serving.
Poor customer service. Wait times are too long in store and they don't answer the phones.
Always nice staff to deal with but the queue waiting times have gotten a little out of hand lately
Worst banking experience ever. Didn’t hear anything for one of my applications in one month and they didn’t even bother to call or inform me about the progress. Got the other bank to do the same thing in just one hour.
