A nice shop selling premium local produce, such as honeys, chutneys, jams dips, ice creams. The owner Mark is very friendly and generous, in providing tasting of the exquisite shiitake mushroom pate with crackers. Highly recommend and will go back again. Mark also showed me photos of his amazing air bnb in the Menzies Creek, so make sure you ask him if you're looking for a relaxing getaway.
If you like gourmet Australian products, stop by this little shop. There are samples to be had, and there is a decent variety to keep you and your taste buds interested. Mark the proprietor knows his stuff very well and is passionate about the products he has curated for his shop. Stop by and have an ice cream which was great and don't be shy to ask Mark for help.
We went past this shop yesterday as part of a mystery picnic experience. We collected refreshments, corn chips and an a-m-a-z-i-n-g chip dip! The gentleman who assisted us was fantastic. We felt welcome from the moment we stepped in and the ice cream sampled was divine! Will definitely go back when we are in the area again.
Went to this store yesterday with my partner. Staff greeted me in a friendly manner. However when another couple walked in we were quickly forgotten. I stood at the register with my items ready to purchase and these same customers cut in front of us to purchase their stuff. Rude enough on the customers part - but for the staff to not even acknowledge that we were there and be honing in on this other couples transaction was extremely poor. I put my items back and walked out.
The most energetic welcome I have ever received!!! I stopped by this food store after going on a half day bus trip so was a bit hungry and tired. But as soon as I walked into this food store I was hit with the most friendliest welcome. I loved how they offered so many different samples for you to try and really made you smile and laugh with their jokes and humour. Definitely worth while checking this store out just for the in store experience. I walked out with two of their lovely crafted pies and some of their gorgeous sauce.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME or Money. I went into the Cream shop on Sat with my friend who needs an assistance dog for health reasons. Firstly the shop attendant indignantly said the dog was not allowed even though he had his assistance jacket on, we had his permit which we offered to produce. Secondly, we were told how amazing the ice-cream was and offered a tasting. We decided to have 2 flavours each in a cup, the portion in total was less than half of what you'd get at a regular single scoop from a gelato shop in Melbourne with better quality. We were shocked when we were then charged $9 each for the most pathetic portion you have ever seen, a complete ripoff . The man servicing us pompous and arrogant.
Was sad to hear this shop was closing. I have been a frequent customer over the years and that was mainly due to the warm welcome every time I went in. think ladies name was Kim She was always helpful and knowledgeable about products and quite frankly one of the only reasons I still shopped there as other staff had been quite rude in the past. Going to miss that lemon sorbet!
What a lovely little store, made all the better by who I presume was the owner, Mark. Such a fun, friendly and passionate guy, his energy and interest in all the products in the store was infectious and we naturally wanted to buy from him as a result. He brightened up our afternoon and will definitely stop by again when we are in the area.
Great service, beautiful food. My partner and I found ourselves in a bit of a pickle on the weekend, stuck in the Dandenong ranges; Mark from Cream saved the day and went above and beyond to ensure that our day was sensational, special and full of their delicious goodies. highly recommend.
This is a must stop place for your ice cream if you're in the area. We have been here a few times and we're always greeted with the most welcoming smiles by Mark. Mark, we were the Malaysian group with 6 little kids! Quaint little shop, lovely service and beautiful products.
