Cranbrook is an Anglican independent day school for boys, Pre-school to Year 12. Boarding is offered to boys in Years 7 to 12.

As a school we energise the educational environment by offering a rich and distinctive schooling both within and beyond the curriculum and give powerful pastoral support. We uphold the character of our Anglican foundation in order to promote the moral and spiritual development of each student and foster the principles of service.

This school is hands down the best school ever! Our son loves every minute and can’t wait to go to school every morning. This is truly astonishing. Great STEM program. Great Sport programs. Great teachers and admins. Highly professional. And frankly, must be one of the most beautiful boy only highschools in the world. It’s definitely in the top 10.
This school is the backbone of civil society. It uproots their pupils to be driven, direct & to never, and I mean never, take no for an answer!nnIt takes the students innate masculine superiority. Upbringing them amongst only men from k - 12. This allows for our kids to be healthy and well adjusted to corporate work environments.nnAll of the offered sport pathways are contact only. With a special focus on rugby union. This is the cornerstone of healthy mental development. Head-gear is highly discouraged as it may prevent students necessary frontal lobe conditioning. That has proven to ensure Cranbrook's pristine public image.

I attended Cranbrook from 1981 to 1988. My experience at the school was great and the majority of the teacher's were off a good standard and I recall 8 truly great teacher's I can think of maybe 4 over that period who were sub-standard They had good facilities when I was there but appear to have outdone themselves with their current facilities. You will need to get a scolarship or have a 6 figure income to send your child there now. I think it is a great idea that they have allowed girls to start attending Cranbrook from 2025.
