Cranbourne railway station is.a disgrace! It may be deemed.a ' premium ' station but it certainly doesnt seem it. Yes, the staff are friendly, yes theres good service, yes its in a handy location a bit dangerous for pedestrians trying to walk to shopping centre, no zebra crossings, cross fingers and just hope for the best.. but the rubbish! It is the worst.Ive seen. Metro plays the elite game. Wealthy suburbs have sparkling new stations.and no litter... There.are NO bins between the station and McDonald's... it shows! New bus shelters installed, no bins...landscaping, what landscaping?? You better hope you dont accidentally tripover..if youre lucky youll just be cut to ribbons on the broken glass. If you're unlucky, you won't be found for 3 years!
Not enough parking. No direct service to to the city from cranbourne station before 6:30am as well as at night time from the city to cranbourne after 930pm. Cranbourne area is one of the developing suburbs in the southeast where public transport system must be taken a closer look to improve as the population in the area increases.
Can feel like your running around in a maze at time. But otherwise it's awesome.
