I’ve been here a few times to purchase computer parts. They have a good selection at competitive prices. I’ve never had any issues with the parts I’ve purchased. The staff are knowledgeable and professional. There is plenty of parking, but it is not close Tor transport.
Bought a canon printer, after 4 weeks waiting was advised it was ready to be picked up. Decided to get replacement cartridges then for convenience. After the cartridges provided with the printer indicated low ink levels, after 6 months admittedly but printer only used intermittently, inserted the cartridges supplied by a CPL staff member. The manager has no idea of customer service in a situation where the staff made a mistake, admittedly my word against events from some months ago but seriously, but anyway will not proceed with any action. My advice to customers is check the advice you receive from staff, then check again They were not recognised, even when I rang to say this the staff member said they were the correct cartridges. Even I could say that was not so from a search of Canon’s website
I made my way to CPL in West Melbourne as I have done a few times in the past and my experience was incredibly good. I came prepared with a list of components for my desktop although I thought it would work well it wouldn’t so Stephen worked with me to get the desired outcome. Later on, we found out that the cooler wouldn’t fit so they sorted that out over the phone. I’ve had the desktop for about a week and so far so good.
They agreed I could return an item for store credit due to it being faulty. Over a month later after receiving the return, which they marked as returned, and that tracking showed it was returned they didn't give me any sort of update other then it's being processed. Over a month later they didn't process the credit or refund me so I called them, as they wouldn't address comments I left in the RMA, and I told them I don't want store credit anymore I just want a refund which they couldn't process as they didn't have a manager in, on a Monday afternoon, but they have supposedly emailed for a refund. Poor communication if any, employees who you get redirected to if you select the warranty option on their call system don't have permission to issue refunds, and I had to wait over a month and be the one to initiate any and all contact.
Beware with their warranty process. It has been 3 months since I report my monitor issue with LG and I have to go through so many hoops between LG and CPL Online. LG confirmed the monitor cannot be fixed by their authorized repair center. and asked the store to provide store credit or refund. Took over a week with poor service from both end to finally told me where to return the faulty monitor back to the store. It has been 1 month since and all I got from CPL is waiting for LG response which my case manager from LG replied to them that authorization for refund has already given by LG, but CPL refused and making me keep waiting without telling me how longer I have to wait for. By the time I am posting this review, I got nothing from both LG and CPL Online. No monitor to use for 3 months and cannot buy a new one because CPL Online cannot decide what to do at this time.
I ordered a Synology NAS Power adapter and realized the motherboard of the NAS device is faulty. I just unpacked the power adapter to check that. But I asked them to return or exchange but they declined it. I asked for at least a 50% refund and I will pay the return charge but they did not accept that either. Worst customer service. Global online stores like Amazon also accept returns within a couple of days. They did not deserve at least one star but I cannot post the review without adding a star. Avoid it and don't buy anything from them.
Good prices but the store is a bit dated. Online shopping experience it's not great with limited options for paying and added surcharges The store itself is also dated and hasn't seen a remake or update in years. Customer service is terrible, waited 40 minutes in store after paying to get my 2 ordered cables. There were other 2 customers besides me, all waiting to pick up the order. Absolutely appalling customer service.
Customer service doesn't exist here, unless you are Chinese, then they're happy to be friendly with you. Prices are good which is why I go here but even then, they will be happy to charge you more than what's advertised on their website. "The price just went up"
I've always had great friendly service from this company. I have brought many products over the years. Highly recommended if your looking for computer parts.
Item was in stock so received an email straight away that it was ready for pick up & was able to collect the next day.
