Coyote Grill

Came through this establishment with some work mates after work. We were able to get some tables together for our large group. Service was average and the portions seemed a little small. Although the presentation was nice. The building seems to be out of an old house or hotel as the bathroom was located upstairs with some more seating. Nice selection of hot sauces and the prices were average for Queenstown.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating! We chose to sit outside which shared tables with a number of other nearby restaurants. Had enchiladas and fajitas which were delicious and the meat in the fajitas was very tender. No tacos on the menu surprisingly! Drinks also yummo! Expect Queenstown prices.

Food were amazing, staffs were really friendly, We had lovely time on Saturday night. Definitely come back again

We were glad to have booked this restaurant through First Table because we wouldn't have paid full price for the food and service we received.

Amazing Mexican food, quaint little two story restaurant, friendly staff, yummy drinks. The fajitas are definitely the way to go.

Pretty good Mexican food for being so far from Mexico. The mole was surprisingly authentic .

Really excellent chicken fajitas and interesting and tasty house salad. Good selection of Mexican bottled beers and other drinks. Nice atmosphere and pleasant, polite staff. Not madly expensive for Queenstown. Would definitely recommend and return if I'm ever in town again.

We went here at 1:30 looking for lunch. There was a lunch menu advertised in 3 different places but they said they weren't doing the lunch menu this week. I found that to be pretty frustrating because I didn't want a dinner portion and I didn't want to have to order sides off of the full price dinner menu Food was just ok. We got nachos, fish tacos, a beef taco and a pork taco. I ate my fish taco right away and it was already cold but the flavor was decent. The nachos weren't great. All the cheese was on the bottom and there were like 7 whole cloves of roasted or marinated garlic on top, it should have been cut up and distributed around . I wouldn't recommend this place for anyone looking for authentic Mexican or decent priced.

I mean, it's Mexican food in New Zealand, so I had to temper my expectations. But the food was good and well executed. Service was also great, and the staff was very friendly. Definitely worth a stop if you're in Queenstown and looking for something a tad spicy!

Excellent food and wine at a fair price. I highly recommend the chimi & enchilada combo. Absolutely delicious and large portions. There is also a good selection of hot sauces on the table to choose from and if you like it really hot “Fear” is the one for you. The service was also outstanding & Sam was a great host. Very friendly, attentive and had some good advice for places to go in Queenstown. I will definitely be coming back here next time I’m in Queenstown.
