A truly beautiful piece of Australia! Been going here since I was a young teenager and now taking my own kids! The only problem is the lack of quality restaurants and can get crowded in the summer holidays, for me it's truly magical in the winter months with thick fog along the hills and water!
Awesome place to visit with family and friends .. good pubs too .. beach is awesome as well every one can enjoy.
Lovely place on a weekday with few tourists around. Watching the waves. Sitting on the green grass under the trees. Toilets nearby. Great day.
Cowes Beach is a lovely safe place for children to play. Shaded grassed areas are great for a picnic. Toilet facilities are available. Enjoy a walk along the waterfront.

Nice views, relaxing, but it was also high tide I believe and a strong surf. Waves came up to the rocks in some areas. Keep an eye out for the little ones.
