We come here often to celebrate special occasions as it is a fantastic feed for a great price. The only issue I generally have with dining here is ensuring I don't over eat so I can fit in dessert! The food is of the quality you would expect in a big city flash restaurant, but the friendly relaxed atmosphere that is conducive to family time and holding conversations over dinner, it's a big plus in my books. I can't say enough about the staff, they are friendly and funny, great to have a chat to if it's not a busy night, and they also know their stuff. Well worth the visit!
Held my Mum's 80th here, and can't say how brilliant it was. We had 65 of her relatives and close friends attending her dinner. The Buffet was incredible, the food was cooked to perfection and there was plenty of it. The waiters were attentive and had us in stitches with laughter. The 8 Great Grand Children were kept occupied with DVDs, blocks, colouring-ins, and other assorted toys. The motel rooms were clean and away from noisy road traffic. The view from the back patio was fantastic - over looks green fields. Would recommend this place to everyone wishing to stay on the Atherton Tableland.
Bizarre. Rude. We decided to try it out and regretted it. We booked for a group of people and upon arrival the owner started to bark orders at us from the beginning. The restaurant was basically empty and we brought toys to keep our children entertained. They were quietly playing, but had sprawled out into the empty area. She went over and fussed at the children, kicking toys. I asked her to address me instead children were only 4 years old and she lost her mind and yelled at another man who was with us. Our group gladly left before eating, but were a bit shocked that someone could be so rude. Just go to Obie's in Yungaburra instead. Much better atmosphere, food, and polite people. It's no wonder this place is falling apart. The locals avoid it for good reason.
