Previous beautiful lawns have obviously not been watered or kept alive. You definitely need to bring tough, padded blankets to sit comfortably. Shame for what was an international Perth beach destination pre-lockdowns. Perhaps Cottesloe Town Shire thinks local visitors are not worth lawn upkeep? Stopped by Cottesloe otw back from Fremantle. 850m walk from train station to beach. Peaceful and beautiful scenery. Walked back towards Grant Street beach and train station and was rewarded with the most stunning sunset all along the whole stretch of the beach. The sand is clean and nice, there's a decently clean toilet/shower close buy and some decent food places across the road. Good luck finding parking in peak hour, you're going to need it.Fantastic place to go for a walk. Beach is clean. Footpaths in good condition and level. Easy for wheelchairs. After a nice walk you can go grab a meal or a coffee at so many nice places. C Blu at OBH is one of my favourites all year around. Indiana Tea house during warmer months is stunning. Not open the last time we were here. Maybe Winter hours or Covid 19 has affected their hours.
Like all the beaches in WA beautiful clear water and a long sandy beach. We went here to see the art work displayed all around the beach. The sculptures were really good and well worth a visit. There was no entry fee but we made a small donation.
Nice spot for an introduction to snorkeling. Some rocks, seaweed and fish around to have a look at; there are sometimes big schools of fish hanging around at certain parts of the shark net. Plenty of sunny and shady spaces to place your belongings. Expect it to be hard finding a car park anywhere after 830am on the weekend. During the week it's not so bad.
Beautiful beach when the wind is down. Great spot for kids as the sea is calmer there. Also amazing spot to watch sunset at. Nice child's play area by the parking
That’s the most popular beach in Perth I think. Because very crowded in Public holiday.. That is also my favorite beach.. it is stunning.. water was super clean.. And if you just want to picnic or watch sunset here, there is a lot seating area. And wooden seating area. A small reminder that there may be some poo in the grass.
One of the most beautiful beach in Perth . The atmosphere is very pleasent. The sea look beautiful specially the time of sun rise. The scenes are spectacular and people really enjoyes there time in beach. The surrounding are well maintained and clean. There are many restaurants near the beach with great quality of food .
A beautiful and clean beach at Perth! Cottesloe beach is a very relaxing sandy beach with a lovely breeze and captivating blue sky. Here, visitors can enjoy the amazing sunset view. The beach has lots of seating areas for visitors too. The water is very clean here and it is a famous destination for surfing, snorkeling, and swimming. A great spot for photography too!
This is my favourite beach in Perth and for a reason you might not guess. While many people do open water swimming here, it's actually a super magical spot to go snorkelling. There are so many varieties of fish, rays and octopus. It's like diving into an aquarium. If you check the conditions and go on a calm day, visibility is usually very good. We've even had a dolphin swim by us here. Sculpture by the Sea is also a wonderful time to visit Cottesloe Beach, so make sure you check it out in March. I love going as the sun is setting as the lighting is gorgeous.
One of my favourite beaches in Perth! Very iconic with the Pylon if you are up for a challenge, you can climb on it and jump off and the Indiana Tea House now „Indico Oscar“, a nice Cuba inspired restaurant. Lifeguards and volleyball fields, and lots of grass sections if you are looking for shade.
Wonderful beach. Although not my favourite Perth beach, it has something for everyone, including some very nice snorkelling. Facilities could probably do with an upgrade like they did at Scarborough a few years ago. Perhaps more sport related facilities too.
