Good selection of food but very expensive
I am so thankful for the amazing ladies at Cosmopolitan Shoes, such kind and patient ladies who took the time to make sure I had found the perfect bag for my anniversary gift. As someone who lives in Adelaide, the selection of designer goods is minimal and it’s hard to commit to a large purchase when you’re not sure of sizing etc. I sent a message through with a few details about what I was after and within moments I was sent multiple options, any questions I had they were more than happy to answer. The bag was ordered and delivered perfectly the next day. I highly recommend speaking with Emy - she made it a truly great shopping experience.
Fabulous ladies. Always a pleasure walking in. I have been shopping at Cosmopolitan Shoes for many years. All the ladies that work in store are pleasant , helpful and kind. The service is second to none. Each time I'm there the girls always offer me lunch and coffees without doubt. Amazing range of stock too. Well done team.
A great collection of hand picked ranges from the most affluent global designers. For the last 20 years, there has never been one time that I have entered this beautiful boutique to not find a numerous selection of items to acquire. Hats off to Rose, the owner, for always keeping up to date with fashion forecasting and finding the most amazing items to make this business a standout to any other boutiques in Sydney for premium designer collections. If you are bargain shopping, there are plenty of online stores that you will find to get the best price for designer pieces made for the masses but if you are looking for stand out individual pieces that you will not find in Australia, then there is no other boutique to cater for this.

The "owner" is an incredibly rude stuck-up conceited woman. And judging by the reviews, I am not the only one who can see that. I felt so unwelcome walking into this store, sitting on the couch on their telephones and they look at you when you walk in like "are you seriously interrupting my phone game". For a "classy" store, your customer service is far from classy. I think I will stay shopping at Liberty and David Jones for my designer wear. Thank you
The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Purchased a pair of shoes that were faulty, the supplier had credited them so I could receive a refund, which she not only lied about, but also refused to refund me! Her reason being, it was unfair on her that she would lose the sale! Had to take her to tribunal to get my money back. I would rather pay double the price else where than to ever shop at this store again. Greedy, Rude& Very unprofessional.
Over the past 4 weeks I have purchased 2 Balmain Blazers from Cosmopolitan Shoes and have experienced outstanding service from the owner Rose & her sister Dawn. These blazers are quite difficult to source unless you are prepared to buy sight unseen online, which can be risky. The French sizing, cut & type of fabric used in each jacket determines how it fits you. As they are an expensive item it is so satisfying to know that you are happy with the look & fit after trying it on. From my first phone call to make an initial enquiry & each of my 4 visits to the gorgeous store has been perfect. They were both so interested, welcoming & professional. A special mention to Dawn who personally walked & introduced me to their Tailor so that the sleeves could be adjusted on one of the jackets - he has done a flawless job. They also stock among many European designer brands, a lovely selection of Gianvito Rossi shoes which I’m looking forward to purchasing a pair from them in the future.
Officially the worst service I have ever encountered. If I could rate 0 stars, I would. The "owner' is completely unprofessional and extremely rude. It was advertised on instagram that the entire store was "50% off" ... I came to learn upon my arrival that we were not welcome as we were not greeted or even acknowledged. No items have prices, a quick cross-check confirms the prices are on sale for more than the recommended retail price. We were unable to ask questions as we felt we were invisible to the employees. Moreover, I asked where the sneakers are, I was shown two pairs and I had seen the drawer open previously with a whole heap of styles to then be told, 'these are for regular customers who pay full price'. Another customer who must of been a 'regular' received 30% off the sneakers from the drawer, paying by card. Additionally, I agreed to purchase a t-shirt but was told "sale items are cash only, the ATM is across the road and bring the exact money because I have no change." I found this extremely unprofessional and on my way to the ATM, I researched and found the same t-shirt was available elsewhere without a 'sale' for cheaper. The Balmain Logo T-shirt at Cosmopolitan Shoes was supposedly $550 down to $385 ... I found the t-shirt elsewhere for $350 full price. The false and misleading advertisement on instagram is illegal, but goes to demonstrates the owner's integrity. May I also include, after my complaint was made, the Instagram post was then removed. I will not be returning and I will be taking this further. Do not bother responding with your 'copy and paste' message including the years your unprofessional business has been established as your foul attitude overrides that.
It's unfortunate some staff were lovely, welcoming and complimentary however once a product was questioned about it's lack of 'immaculate' quality, some staff very quickly turned to defensive and rude. May I suggest some 'decorum and class' next time...would have stayed or returned to purchase more products as planned. I could NEVER recommend or will ever return to Cosmopolitan Shoes.
