Story


We do AMAZING coffee with beans specially roasted to your liking from Axil Coffee Roasters (Winner 2013 'Best Coffee' in The Age Good Food Guide). Our baristas are professionally trained (by Axil Coffee Roasters) & with their silky milk, precisely ground weight & timed to perfection extraction, we aim to give you the coffee of your dreams!

We do breakfast all day, every day & have some of the finest local produce, combined with the most passionate chefs in Bendigo to plate up an experience you won't forget.

We do lunch all day, every day with more local produce, homemade spreads, specially crafted, locally made baguettes & fresh vibrant salads.

Waffle waffle waffle on with one of our famous homemade waffles. We have every topping you can think of - fresh fruit, white & milk chocolate, maple syrup, ice cream + more!

We love our locals & know that not everyone is the same, so we do a combination of Gluten Free, Vegetarian & Vegan dishes that are as good as any dish on our menu.

We make our own fresh juices and smoothies & have some signature blends that you'll love.

Good coffee, yummy brunch options. Service is a bit slow but improving on previous visits, just don’t come if you’re in a rush! Lovely art on display, great spot on a warm day.
I enjoyed the food very much. The Japanese eggs were terrific. The coffee was a bit bitter but overall the breakfast was a very enjoyable experience.
Best fresh squeezed juice I have ever had! Orange and pineapple We both had eggs Benedict and it was very nice just needed more sauce. Would happily return for a quick breakfast, hubby was happy with the coffee too.Food: 4/5
What a lovely surprise this gorgeous little gem was. Plenty of room to sit comfortable. Service was a highlight, pleasantly greeted by the staff on entry, order taken quick and a warm goodbye as we finished. Plus the coffee was literally amazing! Thanks everyone!
Extremely poor service, through no fault of the serving members. We felt for the serving members who seemed a little untrained. Clearly understaffed as we had to go up multiple times to ask for them to take our food order and looking at the other tables, we know we weren’t the only ones. Took a long time for the food to come out and when it did it was mediocre. Even though the coffee was spilt on my partner, it still tasted good. Bathrooms were also awful and with no paper towel. Can safely say we won’t return.
Not great. Bad food, over priced, hot and stuffy, grumpy and disorganised waitstaff. Boring menu. Got the avo on toast, the avo was just a smear in the middle of the bread with a few tomatoes thrown on. Juice was lumpy. Coffee was good. Tables were dirty and the waitress was not happy when I asked her to wipe it down for us and even when she did she still left food all over it. $96 for two breakfasts with juice and coffee! Won’t be going there again. It’s such a shame because this place used to be amazing with a unique and healthy menu and now it’s just toasties and egg on toast etc.
Unexpectedly delicious, clean, non-greasy battered fish and chips with really tasty homemade tartare sauce. The chef is exceptional at this little gem
Looking for the best coffee in town? Look no further then Cortille! My morning go to before work as I wake up like a zombie, they have the best customer service, always remember my order and are very prompt at getting my coffee to me.
Really good coffee, the chilli cheese burger was amazing, everything on the menu looks good. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5
Really good food, service is ok meals often take awhile to come out but all in all a good experience
